aMT & DPT combination.

Sorry, wasn't quite sure where to put this one.

I've got about 30mg of aMT left, not enough for a dose, but do have some DPT making its way to me. Has anyone had any experience in mixing the two together? I'm aware aMT is a mild MAOI, so would tread carefully, but how much of an effect would it have on orally taken DPT?

At 30mg, you're still looking at a good 300-400mg oral dose for DPT to be effective.

I recommend converting your aMT to acetate (search the aMT thread for details) and IMing 20 mg if your usual oral dose is 50-60 mg. That's my usual dose with this combo, which I've done four times. I inject 50 mg of DPT IM in two 25 mg IM doses after peaking on the aMT. It's one of my all time favorite combinations. I've referred to it as "tremulous, soul buckling ecstasy" in the past. It's why to this day I grit my teeth when approaching orgasm. The jaw clench of the aMT became a conditioned response to feeling sensual pleasure after one particular trip on the combo had me crying in gratitude that I could experience anything so perfect and literally drooling all over myself it was so good. I can't guarantee you'll find it anywhere near as good, but I can say one of my friends gave me a $250 pair of headphones to thank me after I gave him the combo...

I haven't taken as high doses as psood0nym, but the combination is probably the finest balance of euphoria & psychedelia I could imagine. I only took like 10mg AMT orally over the course of a day, and vaporised 20mg of DPT an hour after taking the last of the AMT. I could sleep easily after the peak, it's not amphetamine-like stimulation more like a giant warm blanket being put over all your deepest fears and dreads. I want to increase the dose to 20mg AMT and 40mg DPT, which will probably knock my socks completely off, unfurl them into threads, and spin them back together all at once. You probably get it by now, it's nonthreatening yet deep psychedelia with all the bells and whistles. Feels good man, do it up!

I tried 15 mg aMT IM followed by two doses of DPT IM, which showed me the beauty and then the terror of DPT. My recollection of the 40 mg dose brings forth adjectives like "plush", "velvety", or "ethereal" ... then, with the addition of 50 mg at one hour (for a total of 90 mg), words like "sinister" or "insectoid" come to mind.

^I remember reading your report and I still can't fathom why you took so much DPT. I guess a case of "if this much is good, over double must be great"? It feels so comfortable at 50 mg with aMT, much more so than 50 mg of DPT alone, but DPT gets very 5-MeO-DMT-esque-ego-evaporating for me around 60 mg IM.

^I've learned to be a little more careful since that experience.

It wasn't so much a "more is better" attitude as it was a misinformed decision. It was my first trial with DPT and my goal was to increase the effects marginally, but extend the duration. I was under the false impression that DPT IM would last for about 2 hours, meaning my body would have metabolized much of the DPT after 1 hour...TIHKAL lists the duration as 2-4 hours for all methods, which I would say is an underestimate. Also, at the time, I remembered one of MGS's reports detailing repeated trials with 100 mg insufflated. Even with those considerations, I realize it sounds incomprehensible, but it seemed like a rational decision at the time.

Anyway, I think we both know that the sweet spot (at least in combination with aMT) is somewhere between 50-65 mg IM, and we have established that 90 mg is well into unpleasant territory.
