My stimulant of choice is a bit odd - it's propylhexadrine (OTC Benzadrex). For whatever reason oral propyl gives me more euphoria than adderal, ritalin and even smoked meth - and I don't get any sort of a comedown.
In terms of tolerance, I find that tolerance is unavoidable if you take large doses of any stimulant - even when spaced apart by weeks. But the increase is slow and creeping if you take it less than once every 5 days.
