There are no physical withdrawal symptoms from amphetamines. There is a crash when the amp wears off, but this is easily manageable with proper hydration, food, sleep & a benzodiazepine.
The risk you face is more psychological in nature. Amphetamines effects are largely mediated through dopamine and to a lesser degree norepinephrine that will cause intense cravings to redose & revisit the drug in the future. Your brain interprets dopamine release as a reward like sex, food, love, achieving goals, and other activities that are necessary for survival. However the dopamine released by amphetamines is massive in comparison, so you will intensely crave it. This is why drugs like (meth)amphetamine are so psychologically addicting. The user will continue to seek & use these drugs.
It doesn't matter how 'strong minded with good willpower and determination' you are, it will eventually suck you in as it has countless others who have come before you with the same preconceived notions. Just be aware that it is a very psychologically addictive drug.
