Stimulants Amphetamines while ill?

Yes. It was horrible. The worst experience of my life, hands down, aside from my .5 oz. bad mushroom trip. Don't do it.
 
I took ephedrine + caffeine when I had a cold once. All symptoms were gone for a few hours.
 
You have amphetamines and you are trying to drink mouthwash? Ilol stick with amps man, much more fun than drinking hand sanitizer.

I would say hold off on fhe amps, they deplete vital vitamins and minerals, dehydrate you, and just overall strain on your body. You probably won't have much fun on them while you sick.

A very conservative, barely-threshold dose has eased nasal congestion and the general weariness. Any more has increased tremors, feverishness and made it a horrible experience.
 
I was quite sick right before an exam. I smoked 0.25g of shard over 2 days to study for it. It made my symptoms dissapear.

But it did result in drastic weightloss. Weightloss is normal after an amphetamine binge, but this was extreme. I lost 12 lbs over a little over 60 hours. I didn't eat or sleep in that time either.

I put about 4 lbs of that back on pretty quickly. But 3 weeks later I am still markedly skinnier. Oh and I felt like death for an entire week after that.
 
Jesus, hand sanitizer, I never did anything like that in High School. Worst I did was DXM/Cough Syrup. Can't that shit make you go blind? Maybe since ephedrine is a cough supressant it helps the symptoms? Who knows. I never feel sick when i'm amp'd up.
 
I took D-amp with a severe ethanol hangover. Man, was that the wrong thing to do, I felt like I wanted to die. I think when you are truly sick and in pain your body tries to shut off against the pain. Stims just cause it to turn on again.
 
Being sick, whether in withdrawal or just plain old ill, to me is sooo not conducive to taking amps of any kind. Hah. Just the thought of it kind of makes me cringe.. I don't know how anybody gets any kind of satisfaction from that.
 
When you're sick your immune system is trying to heal your body.
Stimulants put pressure on your body, therefore taking stimulants when sick will make it worse and your recovery time much longer.
 
Depends on what kind of sickness it is and ROA. Stomach flu/food poisoning would probably be a shitty time to take amps. Better to sleep through that if you can. Snorting or smoking anything while having a respiratory illness is just plain dumb (although I've been guilty of this before).

As long as you sleep and stay hydrated, it shouldn't have much effect. Your body needs sleep when you're sick.

in my experience, bad trips always occur with people who are in bad places. and yea, I've dosed 1/4- 1/2 pound fresh a half dozen times (25-50 medium cubensis). not quite a +4. The only +4 I have had was from nitrous oxide. now I know there is a higher power.
 
^dude don't go around saying that kinda shit casually.... Some dumbass will come in here and see that "1/4-1/2 lb cubensis, and be like "derr imma eart me a half pound and have fun". And trust me, bad trips can happen anywhere, they aren't just for newbie trippers either. Don't ever lose respect for the trip.... Unrelated to this topic tho, so lets bring it back. Amps while sick is good till the comedown, which is awful.

This ^^. I however have developed this silly idea/concept that the meth helps you get well since its happened a few times. What i noticed is that when i take the meth i feel a whole lot better and happier, so it must cure illness? lol. This is one among many weird meth logic's i need to purge. *sigh*.

I would also often hear from local coke and alcohol users that it helps to get you well or get over it. Obviously you shouldnt do this its silly, but the common mentions of it are interesting now tha I think about it.
 
Stimulants weaken your immune system, which, as you can guess is exactly the opposite of what you want. I'm sure if you slept properly and ate very well stimulant use could be condoned if you absolutely needed to use, but at best it's counter intuitive.


On the plus side ephedrine + caffeine helps with nasal/bronchial congestion and other cold/flu symptoms. Heh guess that's why my ephedrine bottle has "nasal decongestant" printed on it.
