Hi guys quick question

I somehow managed to get an infected gum thanks to one of my wisdom teeth

went to the dentist and had them clean out the gum and am feeling a lot better for it

I was prescribed some antibiotics

metronidazole and amoxycillin

Now I was planning on having a pretty big new years however the metronidazole dosent go down well with alcohol "big sticker on the box saying not to drink whilst taking it" and from what iv read you dont want to drink at all because it makes you feel super sick + spew time

I was going to drop a couple of pills that iv tested that actually contain MDXX however further reading showed that it’s not a good idea either as these antibiotics apparently block enzymes needed to break down the MDMA otherwise making the roll far less effective or making you feel like shit

so scratch that IDEA

now I though as a last resort what if I could get some speed "amphetamines"

did some google and was not able to come up with much info about mixing antibiotics in general or the ones in particular im taking with speed :/

Was wondering if anyone on here would be able to give me some insight otherwise ill be having a sober new years which is not a bad thing only for the fact that last year I was DD and I would at least like to have some fun this time round

The drugs.com interactions checker finds nothing between those three.

I have been scripted that antibiotic combination drug before and took dexamphetamine on it without any problems. I didn't notice anything changing as far as the amphetamine's duration and potency, etc.

Drinking alcohol on antibiotics is, as your script's box says, not a good idea.

Just make sure you stay hydrated :)

I've done way too much speed in the last two days so maybe I am missing the point but why would you want to use an amph when your teeth are recovering? I've been grinding my teeth for the last year from it, it makes my teeth too weak to bite my nails, and I'm not very good on brushing/flossing tbh. Again I hope I didn't misunderstand what you are saying but I've been on a good one for too long.

They're OK. Good combination to prevent abscesses. Metronidazole has some incidence of seizures as a side-effect but the seizures are rated "proven but rare side-effect". Anyway seizures are mainly an issue with coke, not with speed.

Teeth themselves are fine, problem was with the gum which is feeling a lot better now

looks like im going to be getting gas now :s personaly I would sooner drop a bunch of dex sigh

also a thanks to xxl and NeighborhoodThreat for the replys

i took tindamax (tinidazole) for a few months and its in the same class as the one you are taking. any alcohol would make me have heart palpitations and gave me a very nervous feeling. trying to drink through it resulted in me having heart troubles for a couple months afterwards including chest pains. do NOT drink with this shit. amphetamines are probably fine as well as almost any other stimulant/opiate. alcohol is a NO though.
