Stimulants amphetamine weight to meth

well I just want to know why regular amphetamine is so much cheaper than meth, sure I know meth is much more potent but the discrepancy about the price (not talking about the price please understand) is huge. Is it because meth is "slighter" at molecular level ? Thanks guys

Like you get more meth by weight than amphetamine. And the association like hidrochloride or others make the difference ?

This probably has to do with supply and demand in a specific location and has nothing to do with the molecular weights of the compounds. In fact, given that amphetamine has a smaller molecular weight, if price were based on such considerations, you would pay more for amphetamine per gram because you would get more molecules in a gram of amphetamine than in a gram of methamphetamine.

ok. btw isn't meth easily to be produced than amph ? I am considering using amphetamine for university that's the main cause.

Not necessarily. It really depends on what precursors are available.
