Amphetamine redosing question.

Ive been wondering this for a while now so I thought Id ask for some opinions.

I have Dextroamphetamine. I normally will take 50mg IR orally. Then, around 4-7 hours later I will redose another 50mg but I wont notice the effects as much as I did before. If anything, I would think I would feel the effects more.
Is there a specific redosing schedule with Dextroamphetamine like there is with MDMA (having to redose within the 1-3 hour range or its pointless)?
Is taking the same or less of a dose effective or should you always take more than your initial dose?

I am starting to think that I should start taking my second dose before the initial dose wears off.

Any comments or opinions? How do you guys do it?

I think a smaller dose than the original dose would suffice since there would be some left in your system, even if you feel like you have just started to come down. There isn't a specific dosing schedule like with psyches or MDMA and I don't think when you take it will make a huge amount of difference. I'm looking forward to hopefully seeing some more informative answers than this one lol.
 
I've been taking 30 mg Adderall IR's for years now and the best way for me to stay 'on top' of my game is redosing a 30mg about 3 hours after i take the first dose.

The idea especially with the IR pills is to avoid any ''gap'' or comedown. If i were you i would stick to the same dose when you're redosing. The effects of taking 20 - 30 mg more the second time seem like a waste in the long run.. Plus it may raise your tolerance up to the point where a 50mg tablet doesn't even phase you.
 
I was scripted the 5mg IR pills, I find it similar to meth when it comes to re-dosing, it will just keep you awake and not necessarily give you any of the wanted effects just prolong your comedown.

I also wouldn't advise taking more than 50mg at once, if you have a smartphone you can download a free heart rate monitor. Accuracy is constantly tested by fitness coaches, nurses, doctors, EMTs and 5 million users like you.

Watch your heart rate fluctuate while on the dexies, I had heart pain after being prescribed 8 per day divided into 3 doses after 6 months even if i skipped a week, and it ruined LSD for me.
 
treat amphetamines like MDMA. all MDMA is synthesized methamphetamine (MDMA= methyl-n-dioxy-methamphetamine, all same family, same traits, treat all similiarly..
 
^I disagree. You do not treat it like MDMA just because they are part of the same chemical family, that's a logical fallacy. It works mainly on a totally different monoamine system.

I would normally dose around 2/3-1 whole of my starting dose a bit after I noticed my peak falling. After the first dose it's a matter of greatly diminishing returns, though.
 
well like MDMA, and like Addys and Dexedrine, u will lose the magic fast if u keep taking it consistantly. i used to be high 12+ hours wiith the max euphoria on speed, now im lucky to be high for 3-5hrs, and ther euphoria has diminished ALOT, an the more i used, the more negative i expereinced with positive...i had the same reaction with MDMA, if i use it too much, i totally burn the great euphoria it will give and ruin the magic..spekaing for myself and others in my scene

yes, after u redose, then all goes to shit. even days on break, i still noticed i cant achieve the original great high, unless i take months off

I take two week breaks in between my dosages. I assume this will allow me to keep a 50-60mg tolerance without needing to increase it?
 
pretty much. but at the same time, u may over time have more less positive experiences with it the more frequent u use the drug, even if ur tolerance dont shoot up, just that dose will be diminished of "magic" as i call it. lol
 
I know I'm stepping on toes...Do you have ADHD? If you are willing. I would just try to take my med's right so I don't run the risk of losing them all together. I was staying with a guy who got like 120 5 mg I think of dexidrine and We would go thru them in a weak. When I noticed that I was seeing stuff on the walls. And when we would fight because there was nothing to get high off of. I just left. But fell into a harder drug like ICE. I would rather feel normal then high anymore......I hope you can get to a place where chasing the euphoria is just a thought loop that goes round and round.....Benzo's are so hard to come off of so I made up my mind and I'll be on them until I have to stop. Other then that with my methylphenidate I need it bumped up because I am at such a low dose and I would rather just be able to think and focus then be high anymore. Sorry I didn't mean to sound like a dad. I'm just trying to save you some trouble.
