I am curious as to if i took too much adderall in a 36 hour binge.

i am new so sorry if the post sucks.

Anyways. i took 50mg of 10mg ir tablets on Saturday from 10:00 a.m to 3:00 p.m. i then took 60mgs of 30mg xr capsules snorting it starting at 4:00 p.m to 2:30 a.m early Sunday morning. At around 11:00 a.m I took another 30mg xr capsule by snorting it. Did this again before 5:00 p.m Sunday evening and its now 7:00 p.m

i am not a moderate adderall user and feels like he started this binge wrong and without being smart about it. i only drank water and atr very little. i am now feeling like i'm on a rollercoaster with going from speeding to slight tiredness. i also have slight chest pain and headache.

i'm just wondering if i did too much in a short binge period. i'm also wondering when the comedown will happen and how bad i can expect to feel. i still feels kinda wired.

Sorry if this post is all janky and bad but i am having a very hhard time thinking.

hello speedball2 and welcome to BL, we refer to ourselves a 'i' here at BL and please edit your post in the future instead of creating another post and bumping your own thread :).

140mg? that's a lot. do you have any benzos?

food and water are your best friend. benzos will calm you down and put you out. high dosed amps is no fun..

Hello speedball2. We do not use swim here. It offers no protection and we know it's you. Welcome to Bluelight. We are a harm reduction based community with many different areas to help educate you and help you in areas you may need it. Personally, as an amphetamine user myself, I can be honest with you and help you out. First, I feel it helps that you are a moderate amphetamine user. That says that you have some sort of tolerance.

The maximum recommended medicinal daily dose for Adderall is 60 Mg per day. That is a decent bar to gauge your usage by. Now your weight, health and normal average daily usage would help answer your question better. Here is information the things effecting how long amphetamine is in your system. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adderall#Pharmacokinetics . Now to give you a ballpark, IR Adderall tablets usually work 4 hours average.

Look at it this way, each dose of IR started wearing off approximately 4 hours after you first took it. So the last IR dosage started wearing off at 7:00 pm. Now the fact that you dosed the ER nasally by crushing it, essentially turned it into an IR dosage. The fact that you snorted it, may have made the duration slightly shorter, but essentially you ingested 110 mg in 16.5 hours. That's almost double the daily dosage of Adderall.

Read the link I included, it explains how this works too well for me to repeat. Now during this time, if you were not hydrating or eating, even if you feel fine, you are stressing your heart by default. Now, 9 hours later, you do a total of 60 Mg, nasally, in a short period of time, without real adequate rest, you repeat. This is enough use too put too much stress on your heart. As far as comedown, that is highly subjective. If you focus on the comedown and think about it too much, that itself is enough to negatively or positively effect your comedown.

If you ate and hydrated during your session, that would make comedown better, but a comedown is a comedown. Dim lights, a chill atmosphere will aid the comedown. IMO benzodiazepines help a great deal, because they relax your mind and body, effecting heart rate. If this is way past your interest in a reply, I will continue this post for other people who may be interested. This is an internet forum. We cannot feel, truly interpret, or know how severe your chest pain is.

If you have any feelings like this usually including pain in left arm, shortness of breath, feeling of impending doom, cold sweats, or anything of the sort, that is an emergency situation. Stop what you are doing, don't panic and call 911 immediately or get to the hospital promptly. Safe amphetamine use includes proper hydration and some food even when you do not feel like it. Electrolytes are very important for your heart, brain and rest of your body. You need to learn how to read your body and the sensations it gives to prevent a OD situation.

As an end note, there is, at least in my opinion a theoretical proper way to catch a buzz mixing amphetamines and various routes of administration. Start here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amphetamine for general information about amphetamines and how they work. Go from there and learn everything you need to know about proper amphetamine usage. We are a harm reduction forum and do not instruct one on how to get high, but will encourage proper education, safety and health.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it. I ended up being sent to the hospital with an overdose and bad heart problems. My heart reached around 170 on a machine and they said that 200 would be a heart attack. My heart rate went down a little bit but is still above normal.

My question now is if I do an oxycodone to relax if it will really hurt my heart. Its still beating pretty heavy. The doctor also said he kinda wanted me to stay in the er.

Don't you have any benzos or similar drugs available or that were scripted to you at the hospital? They're usually considered the best and safest treatment for the physical effects of stim overdose, although in your case don't hold out too much hope that they'll do much for the psychological effects, considering the absurd amount of amphetamine you've just ingested; you're likely not going to be getting much sleep for the coming day or so, until the tail end of the comedown.

Opiates might help, but have the (sometimes disputed) reputation of putting even more strain on your heart when mixed with stimulants, especially at overdose levels. Another risk when mixing strong uppers and downers is that in some cases the margin for error in dosing is very small; it comes from the fact that one of the two (usually the upper) is going to be eliminated before the other, and a dose that feels quite mild-moderate when you take it with stimulants still in your system can potentially turn into an overdose when the stimulant that was counteracting many of its effects is gone, leaving its full effects (including the dangerous ones like respiratory depression) acting completely unimpeded.

A low dose of the right AAP would likely knock you out for a few hours even in cases where benzos can't, but unless you're presenting with glaring signs of stimulant psychosis it's unlikely they'd give you a heavy med like that for an overdose.

The one thing you should absolutely NOT take is beta-blockers. They're one of the worst things you can give to someone during a stim overdose, which is unfortunately very unintuitive, as b-blockers are likely to be one of the first things many people would think of when faced with severe palpitations and BP spikes.

Ask for a benzo that'll safely drop down your bpm without to much stress and help you calm down ... Not trying to be an ass but learn from this....a few more mg's and this could've easily ended bad for you .... Take advantage of the ER while you're are there

My question now is if I do an oxycodone to relax if it will really hurt my heart. Its still beating pretty heavy. The doctor also said he kinda wanted me to stay in the er.
The doctor evidently wanted to keep you there to monitor your vitals. Eat some food, keep yourself hydrated, and get some sleep. I wouldn't advise taking anything just yet unless the doctor said it's alright.
