I've been doing somewhat heavy doses of various amphetamines pretty consistently over the last 2 weeks and I've started to to have delirium-type hallucinations. I was told these are the signs of amphetamine psychosis. What would be a good amount of time to lay off amphetamines at this point (excluding that the best idea would be to never do any again)?

Yeah, I was doing a lot of adderall and ritalin. No less than 60 mg during a session. Didn't use any meth though.

I think true psychosis comes with daily/binge usage, especially if you have missed alot of sleep. If I take enough Adderal over a period of time (like a few days straight) I definately slip into a panic/psychotic state. Ritalin is less likely to induce psychosis, but Adderal is obviously stronger. Try tapering down gradually as opposed to stopping suddenly, and try just the Ritalin (snorted). If you keeping on getting psychotic reactions then I suggest stopping stimulants altogther. Then again, once you've seen how much work they fit in a little orange Adderal its hard to say no.
