Amphetamine/Opiate Cross Tolerance

Is there any information on cross tolerance with high a very opiate tolerance and amphetamine tolerance (even with rare use) Has anyone else experienced this?
I am not talking about using them together (no opiates are involved as I only resort to the Ritalin when I don't have any).

I am an opiophile with a huge tolerance and a rare user of amphetamines since I rarely get any euphoric feelings from them. I'm not looking for info on how to get high, just any idea if this happens to anyone else and any idea why? Thanks.

I have never heard of cross-tolerance between amphetamines and opiates. IME if there is any cross-tolerance, it is negligible. Here are the reasons I think so:

a) Amphetamines are stimulants, with their primary sites of activity being dopaminergic/serotonergic/norepinephrinergic neurons. Opiates, on the other hand, bind to opiate receptors throughout the central nervous system, eventuating their respective pharmacodynamic effects. Amphetamines have been shown to cause a cross tolerance with Cocaine; cocaine is especially known for effecting dopamine (inhibiting the reuptake process). Opioids (obviously) cause a cross tolerance with other opioids. Because amphetamine and opioids effect the body so differently, I don't see a significant cross tolerance between the two.

b) Personally, I have used Opioids quite extensively and have a comparatively milder history of amphetamine use. There were times when I would require 0.25 grams of IV heroin (excellent quality) to stay out of withdrawal, yet on an occasion I purchased 30 mg of Adderall and was bouncing off the wall.

logically and chemically they shouldn't, but on a psychological level they both provide positive reinforcement for doing absolutely nothing. in this sense, the cross-tolerance could perhaps be a psychological response to trading one for another. i know it's all chemicals, but i've experienced first hand how a seemingly perfect pleasurable dose of adderall can go to absolutely NOTHING just from Guilt.

cause if you feel guilty about it all the time, you simply CANNOT enjoy the effects even if they're being forced into you.

I thought opiates had an effect on dopamine as well, which might explain a slight cross tolerance, but this has never personally been my experience. When I was on 90mg of methadone, cocaine still effected me the same way it does now, and the same goes for amphetamines and cathinones.
