Stimulants Amphetamine Freebase Purification [contaminated]

Hi, Longtime Lurker first time posting.

Huge fan of the site and hold huge respect for many of the more distinguished members and their contributions (to others and my banks of knowledge) so before I continue thanks for your contributions

OK. So I bought [some] high grade amphetamine freebase about 20 grams to take to university with me, and my brothers evil girlfriend decided to contaminate it with something that negatively alters the effect. It tastes virtually the same, just slightly more bitter and looks identical but the effects are far from pleasureable, rapid heartbeat, anxiety, hbp etc. I believe the amphetamine is unaltered chemically

Does any one know a method to clean the speed up and remove these nasty chemicals? I will purchase equipment and supplies if neccessary.

I have a small bottle of acetone to begin with :D

I choose to bomb rather than smoke it or inject, the effect of the neg chems is almost immediate... then approx 20 minutes later the phet kicks in! its not what the doctor ordered. 8(

I hoped a member with some solid knowledge of this kind of chemistry :D could steer me in the right direction, or possibly refer someone to me that does know... perhaps a chat room or another forum

After doing some serious reading via google. It seems one route through this problem could be to turn the free base into a salt ie phosphate or sulphate using the appropriate acid, while also addressing the temperature issue (free base oil must be kept in a freezer to prevent it from evaporating)

There is a purification method on this brillliant forum to purify amphetamine salts with acetone and alcohol !!!

So here is possibly my final question on this issue...

Does anyone know the method to turn Amphetamine freebase into a Salt, where to search or who to ask?

It really depends on what it's "contaminated" with, but a common method of purifying things is to dissolve X substance in Y solvent (alcohol/oil/water/ether/naptha/whatever) and then removing whatever isn't absorbed into the solvent or the reverse. Not the most reliable method though.

Why are you even doing amphetamines contaminated with an unknown chemical contaminant? Terrible idea, but whatever... I'd get the dumbass that cut the amphet and have her show me what exactly she cut it with?

If you say the effects are "negative", that is usually a sign of a shitty-stim RC, maybe caffeine, or some stimulant health food supplement. That's all I can think of.

i agree what would make amp not work is not going to be taken out easy dont know what its solible in or man i dont know look at rec. online recrystalize but no for sure there its all ready liquid and wont dry so bummer

Okay, this is not amphetamine freebase but rather the hcl salt. The freebase is a caustic, oily liquid. Whoever told you it is the freebase was confused. The appropriate purification procedure will depend on what you are trying to wash out of the product. You can't really get more specific advice than this without additional information.

Speculatively, there might not be a good at-home method to clear out the impurity...most active drugs are amines in salt form with chemical properties pretty similar to meth hcl.

Ooops. well, the story's the same: euroamp sold as "base" is still a salt (usually sulphate or phosphate).
