I have experimented a lot with either eating a little or a lot or even none at all for a 12 or so hour period while on adderall and I have finally six months in found what works best for me, and I though I would make this thread to create discussion around it. If I don't eat anything it kicks in really fast but before long I feel a loss of control and my thoughts are disordered in an unpleasant way. I find myself taking some kind of light (or heavy) downer fairly into the experience. I sometimes embarrassingly end up spending hours masturbating looking for the perfect photo. This can be fun in a way but it's not what I want from them. If I eat a light breakfast before like oatmeal and toast and prepare a smoothie which I drink over the next couple hours I feel really high but also grounded and calm. I can talk to anyone be anywhere within reason and generally feel like I'm steering the experience rather than hanging on. I drink some coffee and plenty of water and don't need downers till hours later. So this is what works for me if anyone else feels like sharing I'd be interested, everyone's different so I'm not trying to tell anyone how to make the most of it, but it, would be great if it could help others have a more meaningful experience as we'll.
