Amphetamine&Alcohol

The effects cancel each other out as one is an upper and the other a depressant.

Alcohol will not intensify the effects of Adderall.

You may be able to drink more without feeling drunk, but how is that a good thing?

I'm going to move this to BDD, as this is not an OD topic.

Be very cautious if you feel compelled to attempt this combo, it really does take a toll on your body. Both drugs individually are already hard on your body, and the combo intensifies these effects.

Not really per se. Technically, as alcohol is a CNS depressant and amphetamine is a CNS stimulant, they work against each other. But subjectively, I find a couple of drinks when high on a stimulant can boost the euphoria a little bit and lessen the uncomfortable side effects of the speed. be aware! both drugs dehydrate you, and the combo can take this to the extreme. Expect to have to pee a lot. It's crucial that you maintain proper water (and electrolyte) intake. Definitely have at least one non-alcoholic drink in between rounds, and go slow with the booze.

Is it true you can drink more without feeling drunk?
Yes. The key word here is feeling less drunk. The alcohol still is effecting your body the same as always, it just doesn't feel like it because the stimulant makes it seem like you are more aware and in control than you really are (I usually don't realize this until the next morning, try not to fool yourself). Also, when the speed does ware off, expect the full force of all the drinks you've consumed to hit you at once. If you drink more than usual because the speed makes it seem less effective, you will be wasted in just a few hours, and the hangover will be from hell.

In conclusion, a couple of drinks can be nice while tweaked, you must exercise caution not to go overboard. Remember, dehydration can kill.

be safe, and have fun.

I decided not to drink at all because normally when I drink I really have a problem with it. I thought maybe if I drank on Adderall, I would not act as badly as I do otherwise because I wouldn't be feeling it. But yeah, asked my friend the same question and he said the hangover is REALLY bad.

if it is bad then i am screwed.

For me adderall makes me want to drink way way less..... but the alcohol I do drink ( a few beers ) with it makes me feel great

Well for me I've always found it's just a case of drinking more because you are still kept functioning beacuse of the the speed (I might point out that I have only done this with amphetamine). So if you only have a drink or two I would say you will be fine.

Alcohol doesn't seem to cancel out the effects of methamphetamine for me (probably because the dose of meth tends to be stronger than the dose of alcohol), but for some reason the combo makes me really strung out and aggressive.

not a good combo- worst comedowns i have had are from mixing amphetamine/ some other stimulant with huge amounts of alcohol.

soul destroying comedown
