my p-doc recently scribed me amitriptyline for sleep (cause my ambien issues have gotten way outta control - i can't seem to not seriously misuse ambien whenever i take it... nother story nother time).
so far, its had zero effect at either 25mg or 50mg dosages.
what's the extreme end of the envelope?
i kinda think i've so destroyed my dopamine and serotonin production and uptake systems over the past ten years of... poor decision making... that nothing short of knockout doses of opiates or benzos will reliably put me down.
anyway, guidance on making Elavil work for me is appreciated.
