There are a ton of these babies in my yard that keep popping up. I am 99% sure they are Aminitas, but would feel more comfortable if someone else could reliably ID based on the picture attached.
Thanks,
nope
Edit - They are popping up and are cultured under pine straw beneath several large oak trees, if that helps with the ID; also, they did have the white specks on top originally but those have fallen off into the paper bag I use for drying.

There are red mushrooms other than amanita, be careful.

Mycologically speaking, there is a little sack which is at the base of the stem on amanita species, the stem is growing out of the sack. Also veil hanging near the cap is another amanita feature...
I don't see the characteristic white warts in your picture, are those present? Also take a spore print, amanitas are white spores I believe...but I'm no expert! Double check my id points in a book or something!

Of you are to eat them, start extremely low! Mushroom poisonings can take a few days before you notice toxicity, so don't charge in!

The moderators will close this we aren't supposed to id anything, as it demotes harm reduction.

Also its too warm for amanitas I think, they like the cold... Southern us doesn't ever grow amanita Muscaria even...if it does its fall
