These are the two definitions I was able to find on Amide. Does anyone know why this substance would be combined with oxycodone in a gelcap pill? What is it's purpose? What is a maximum amount of Amide that can be taken before it starts having negative effects? The script for this pill is just this, Oxycodone 5mg hcl Amide.
There is no generic name, and was obtained from a cancer patient, the pills were prescribed to him so he could come down slowly off of oxycodone. He would normally be taking Oxycontins, 40mg strength, but is now slowly stepping down his doses of oxycodone.
