Robert Pete Williams at his very best, this is better than his Prison album recorded at the same Prison the Lomax's first recorded Leadbelly.

 
Wow. I had not listened to Carbolic Acid Blues for years. I used to get used albums and tape the good songs onto cassettes if I didn't like all of the album. Then that album would go back to the used record store. I had Carbolic Acid Blues on a tape I listened to for years, but haven't heard for years. Thanks for the mammaries.
