Misc Amdolipine for sleep / anxiety?

Just curious people's experience with Amlodipine .. I found a bottle of 90 10 mg pills. I just got off clonidine about a month ago and am steroid free so my BP is pretty stable / normal. Just curious if they'd help with pop up anxiety / sleep and if anyone can compare them to clonidine or metoprolol.

Looking at the side effects it doesn't seem so. Insomnia is a symptom, and looks dangerous to mess around with. It dilates arteries. Heart attacks, tachycardia, and other nasties are possible. Edema is very common at only 10mg.

Drowsiness is a rare side effect (<1%), so it probably doesn't do anything pleasurable at all.

I wouldn't mess with it.
