Misc Ambien stopped working, what now?

After combining 10-20mg Ambien with 100mg Endep (tricyclic antidepressant) for almost 10 years, I can't sleep anymore. Tried adding benzo (Bromazepam) to this mix but it doesn't help. Any suggestions? Anything but antipsychotics because I really can't stand them. Does anyone has any experience with Eszopiclone? Stronger than Ambien or not?
