ambien on stimulant comedowns

is ambien good for speed, coke, mdma, etc. comedowns? prob not as good as benzos i'd think, due to its weak anti-anxiety and muscle relaxant effects(ambien and other "z-drugs"are selective at gaba sites, unlike benzos, barbs, and booze so it may not be very good but idk).

what do you think?
 
maybe ambien plus xanax, that'd cover your sedation and anti anxiety. not to sure off the top of my head on how xanax does with muscle relaxing though.

If I were to give it a shot it'd be 10mg ambien followed by 0.5mg xanax or 1 mg xanax

Xanax is cool, but I recommend Valium for it's muscle relaxing property.

it's hypnotic effect is stronger than benzos with weak hypnotic effects, like clonazepam, diazepam, etc. but temazepam, nitrazepam, rohypnol, triazolam, etc. are just as strong hypnotics(maybe even stronger) and have much better muscle relaxant and anti-anxiety effects than ambien.

i think the same goes for lunesta, but idk about that one. is it any better or worse than ambien?(i''ve never tried it)
 
Lunesta is basally the same action different drug, more potent binding.
I did suggest to add Valium to Ambien to enhance the muscle relaxing property.
 
believe it or not Ambien "reset" my brain when I was coming down off a horrible mdpv binge. It was like it flipped a switch in my brain, and got my thought processes back to normal. Might have saved my mental health.

lunesta is more potent binding than what? ambien wouldn't do much for relaxing muscles, it is very weak at those sites, valium i could see helping way more than ambien.

The same site as Ambien.

Valium is not a good hypnotic, and Ambien is not a good muscle relaxant.

So if you combined them, the Ambien would boost the hypnotic property of Valium while Valium will boost the muscle relaxant property of the Ambien.

The Valium will last longer than the Ambien keeping you sleep longer and keeping you less tense the next day.
 
it is not better than benzos. but if you are trying to fall asleep after stimulant use, i would take it. i would not take it if you are trying to stay awake but calm down. it is very possible that you become delirious if you try to stay awake after taking ambien while coming down from a stimulant.
 
I've had too much experience in this department, too many nights that turned into days without sleep, I mostly just used dexedrine, or adderall or ritalin when I would binge on stimulants, never done meth.

I'd say yes Ambien is a godsend, but by itself if often isn't enough, I find I need to use some Klonopin or Valium and Ambien or Lunesta..... between a benzo and one of the Z-drugs you'll be able to come down comfortably and hopefully sleep too.

If you just use Ambien you might just end up in a really odd state of mind, the ambien benzo combo gives you more coverage and allows you the best chance to actually get some sleep if you need to do something the next day.

God I feel like a drug nerd right now!

I guess the general consensus is :
benzo- definitiely
ambien/lunesta/z-drugs - probably not alone but ok in combination with benzo

either or, don't try to stay awake, allow yourself to fall asleep otherwise you'll end up in a strange state of mind.
