Ambien, losing the magic?

Well, recently i have been doing ambien for a couple of days. On last saturday, sunday, monday, wendsday, and yesterday (thursday). They were A~ blue pills 12.5mg. I always loved them because they made me hallucinate and trip. And not in like acid kind of trip, like an ambien trip. Everyone who has done ambien knows what i mean. I always snort my pills because i feel i produces a stronger high, but i never really tryed taking them. I really like the super quick onset with the rush. Next time i will

Anyway, my question is it seems like ambien is losing it's magic lately. Last night i got a quick rush after snorting 1 1/2 pills but i wanted more so i decided to do the last 1 1/2 pills i had and i didn't even feel much of a difference except for another 30 min buzz just like the first 1 1/2 pills? Could it be snorting it thats making it such a quick high?

The high only feels less then 2 hours? And i remember about a week ago i could snort one and be good for the night. Could it be tolerance? My first time ever doing an ambien i snorted 5 10mg ir pills, could that be another reason my high isn't the one i desired now?

I have used Zopiclone, a similar drug (though supposedly less enjoyable).
I've always taken them orally, and yes they have lost any magic they used to have. Within 6-10 months, I went from having 1-2 to really knock my socks (it sucked at the time) to 4+ which was when the tolerance to gaba gave way to some cool effects and visuals, to 10+ and I wouldn't feel that much, maybe what half a pill used to do.
