Ambien injection not working

I am now getting ambien for my insomnia, I've read so much about booting it and it working well for people, well i have crushed up 3 ambiens dissolved it, filtered it and banged it (i heated it a little to help it dissolve) ive tried several times and it just does nothing for me. they are the 10 mg instant release ambienm why isnt it working for me? does it just not work for some people? doesnt seem to help me when i swallow it either, could my high tolerance to benzos have anything to do with it as I know ambien is similar molecularly to a benzo
 
I have a script of em right now... 10mgs... I'll insufflate two of em or take 4.. They burn like hell if you don't crush em really good though. Never heard of injecting them... but if you take 4 of them and you have no tolerance you probably won't remember the expierience.
 
Lol have fun losing an arm. I think the solubility of ambien in water is like 23mg in 1ml of water. Which is surprsingly large but still no smart to inject pills, especially benzos...the only benzodiazepine feasible to inject are triazolam, flurazepam, and midazolam, other than that, just take your ambien orally. I think it is above 80-90% oral BA which is incredibly high compared to most drugs. Orally is safer, more effective, and pasts longer for ambien. I don't see why u want to inject it, but if u are please use a micron filter. Google benzo solubility bluelight and an awesome thread will pop up about injecting benzodiazepines. But I have no fucking clue how u will be able to fit in a 30 cc needle. It would be like injecting an ambien pill that u just threw some water on and tried to inject, its just not possible or effective

Dang, Pharm, did you ever break up one of those and see how it gets broken and both ~halves will stick to each other, congratulations, you have dissolved and put a shitload of fucked up binders in your system (zolpidem matrixes are fucked up for some reason).
With all respect, but you take meth and then you shoot ambien and then you complain it doesn't works? No wonder why!
Those will probably synergize...
 
are you trying to dissolve in water? try using sterile propylene glycol instead. benzos and related drugs arent known for water solubility
 
Have you tried other ROAs first? Ambien just doesn't do much for some people, and it can change day to day as well. I would definitely go with a safer ROA. As others said, if you are going to inject Ambien anyway, use something which Ambien is more soluble in (or make sure you have enough water for it to dissolve properly if you're using water) and absolutely micron filter it.

I have taken ambien pretty much since it came on the market, but it had lost a lot of its effectiveness for me. When I told my dr. about the problem, she prescribed a sublingual form of zolpidem called Edluar that comes in 5 or 10 mg. Of course I opt for the 10. It doesn't take long at all to dissolve under my tongue and it delivers the effect within minutes. It doesn't exactly taste great, but I am used to chewing my pain meds anyway. The drawback is that there is no generic equivalent for Edluar, so good drug-overage insurance or an assload of money is required. It is well worth it for me, perhaps it could be an option for you as well.

LOL!! Ain't that the truth. I stay up late quite a bit and later in the morning see shit I've written down or done and can't believe it was me. Very strange indeed. The good news is that while I'm in it, I don't act all that weird or at least no one's ever told me so and I'm occasionally around a bunch of people when I do it.
 
yea i agree with the above poster. take as directed. tho i have heard injecting ambien has a rush thats almost like cocaine? always found that hard to believe. can anyone who injects ambien comment on the rush>?

Pharm, I spent a lot of time IV'ing ambien, wanting it to work because I like it, and it's effective. I get the same effects: none. Orally works best for me, snorting it is a little stronger but lasts significantly less time, plugging it is just below snorting it and IV, for whatever reason, provides the least effect.

I've tried various ratios of water/PG, heating, agitating for excessive amounts of time, mega doses, low doses, rapid successive doses.. for me, there's no way to enjoyably IV ambien. Oh, I've even combined it with heroin to try to coax it along.. or something. No dice.

Empathy. Also empathy for all these assholes ruining your thread.
 
Have you actually tried seeing how effective they are orally? 30mgs orally should knock you for a loop. If it doesn't then you know theres some type of tolerance issue. Try that, then if that works you are probably screwing up the mix and draw process. Don't heat it! That might ruin it as well as add nasty crap into the solution, who knows.
 
^lol yeah, take 30mgs and you will be waaaay out of it. i took 30 on my first time and after about 30 minutes i kept telling my friend joe pesci was in his bathroom. lol. we were watching goodfellas and everything was so crazy, nothing made sense. very strange drug indeed.
