Ambien + Hydrocodone + tequila = Scared!!! :(

I take 10 mg ambien everynight but I decided to snort half of a tab (5mg) and take the other one orally and then chopped up another one with 2.5 mg Ambien and snorted away. by this time im still tripping and decide to take a swig or 2 if tequila (I've never been drunk before. Did this to potentiate effects) And i'm hoping that won't make me sick.

I also take Hydrocodone for pain and i'm hurting. Can I take one now? I'm scared in a way. BLAH ramble ramble ramble lol
 
u certainly can take it, you wont die, and it will make your high much beter. You may get a bit sick having a coctail of all those diff drugs but your going to be 100% fine. dont take much more of any of the dtrugs though you could get really sick

Well, honestly I use xannax and I was prescribed Ambien but if you get a tolerance to it...well it becomes useless and you start feeling crazy once you don't automatically pass out. Drinking will just enhance the effects of the ambien but I personally wouldn't drink to much. If you took a vic or a norc you wont die. You will probably feel pretty good and go to sleep peacefully. To be honest, If you're scared than you should probably not do it. Lucky for you there is this amazing site where you can have all your questions answered from people with experience with the substances!
 
Yeah the ambien wore off slightly after I took a Norco 10/325. I barely got any of the alcohol in me, just 2 small sips. I then decided i'm good, and took a half of my norco and went outside to smoke a cigarette because i'm out of medicine (Cannabis) while listening to Pink Floud's Dark Side of the Moon. It was actually pretty trippy believe it or not haha but it's 4:30 in the morning and I gotta get up in a few ours. Grr... Thank god for coffee lol. But yes, without this site, I woulda been in a casket years from now. Love you Bluelight!
 
haha very nice reply. My motto in substances and medicine is everything in MODERATION'S is ok. I personally did not like the Ambien and told my psychiatrist and he prescribed me .5 xannax then eventually throughout time and tolerance prescribed me 2mb xannax bars. I find them to be a lot more effective in the anxiety and restlessness areas. I also have medical MJ card and honestly ever since seeing a psychiatrist for my problems and being prescribed when I am currently taking. I have not found nor craved the need to smoke MJ again.

I don't think so as the ceiling therapeutic dose isn't very far from the lower toxic doses lol...

Those is some strong chemicals...

And on the ambien note...Granted I was in a TREMENDOUS amount of pain and they were around 3 years old...they didn't really put me down after sliding down the asphalt face first at 30 MPH...and that was added onto 100mg diphenhydramine, the lingering effects of 12mg Morphine IV, and the just kicking in effects of 32.5mg of hydrocodone...
 
OP, the thing that worries me is that you've never been drunk before, and I don't know exactly how much tequila you've had. It's never a good idea to mix downers, but people get away with small doses (much smaller than you'd take individually, especially the first time) - you need to be very careful though and be aware that downers will potentiate each other. If you're feeling drunk, I wouldn't take the hydrocodone. If you do take it, make absolutely sure not to drink/take anything else.
 
Its especially bad to mix Norco that has APAP in it with alcohol. It wont kill you, but its not helping you any, thats for sure. But then again, what is?

I take ambien and never thought to snort it. Now I am curious as it doesnt even really work anymore at the specified doseage. I need approx 20-25 mg of Ambien to fall asleep. I hope you woke up w/out a pill hangover.
 
In regard to Tripman:

I am prescribed Xannax 2mgs by greenstone. I take about 2 bars in a night throughout the night 4-5 times out of the week due to the other medication I am prescribed which is Adderall. I had a seizure quitting xannax cold turkey and it scared the shit out of me. I weened off it with taking prozac after talking to my pshychaitist and neurologist. It completely fucked up my life because I had this "new on-set seizure/causes unknown" while driving on the freeway and got into a car accident. Thank god no one was hit and I went on the shoulder of the freeway but could you provide me some knowledge on the substance?
 
Switch to Alprazolam(Xannax). I used to be prescribed ambien but that substance left me with the worst pill hang overs and gave me weird trippy dreams. If you take the Xannax as prescribed by your doctor you will not regret it.
 
Yeah fro some reason when you snort it, it hits you like a brick. I researched it so i'd know that i'm not wasting anything, and it actually takes less Ambien (Like half a pill) to really feel it. Damn, I don't remember posting this! I woke up at 1 P.M. here feeling just fine, but my house is a disaster zone! I'm out of ambien also... musta ate my last 5 or something. i'm to afraid to count my 180 Norcos. Note to self; Don't try to take a swig or two of Tequila after taking and snorting ambien!

Hah, excellent advice! Sorry about what happened, at least you are safe and okay.

Actually - please check how many Norcos you had - if you had more than 4g of APAP you should get yourself to a hospital ASAP, especially as you were drinking as well. APAP poisoning kills and by the time symptoms appear it can be too late. Stay safe.
