I had some ambien 5mg pills. I thought hallucinations would be minor, if at all. I was wrong.
I ate nothing that day to heighten the effects. I took 10 mg since it was my first time.
After about 10 minutes, I began to notice the sedating effects like the coming on of vicodin or codeine. Your arms get heavy and yoyur shoulders become relaxed.
After about 20 minutes I got the incredible urge to dance. My friend said I wasn't really dancing, more of just swaying around on the floor. After this point I remember very little. I was very dizzy and had a horrid time trying to walk straight. My entire house seemed like a fun house, like one of those paintings that has the staircases going in every direction. For some reason it felt like I could feel high and low points in my floor, like I was walking on a beach almost. The rest was just a blur that I can't recall.
In the morning, I woke up very refreshed and I had a notebook open in my hand. It seemed that I had written a story the previous night. Most of what I had written was just random gibberish and incoherent statements. I also discovered that I ate five bowls of cereal that night among other things. My room was completely trashed with CDs and DVDs laying on the floor among empty dorito bags and dirty silverware.
I underestimated the effects severely. Anyone going about trying this drug should be careful and get a good sitter.
