Ambien anxiety ...

Anyway to prevent/fight off the anxiety/depression from ambien? its a great way to help me get to sleep but if i even take 1.. the next day is just full of anxiety and depression... dont wanna live my life this!

....I never feel depressed or anxious after a night of ambien.
But now after researching it, it does talk about ambien causing a hangover in a lot of people which is a huge surprise to me because of how short ambien lasts..

Just a question, do you suffer memory loss of any kind after taking ambien? Studies have shown that drinking in excess to the point where one browns / blacks out will have a large impact on anxiety namely due to obsessive thoughts over what you might have done.

Ambien is somewhat notorious for causing blackouts especially in non tolerant users, so if this is what's happening, it would explain the issue you're having, and might be solved by talking with your doctor about a dose reduction.

Truly a bad medicine for long term use anyway, best to try to establish good sleep habits through natural means, but I've been around the block enough times to know that's easier said than done. Just don't underestimate, it's a very addictive drug, dangerous withdrawals are included.
