I'm trying to kick a methadone habit and on day 21 still having some terrible withdrawals. Was put on it for pain 4 years. I've been taking ambien prescribed by the Dr. I only get 2 to 3 hours of sleep a night with it. My real question I think after it wears 6 hours later I feel worse anxiety and shakes. I don't know if it's ambien causing it or just part of withdrawing. I dont' know if it's better to just stay off of it and try to wear out my body or 2 to 3 hours is better then nothing? I feel better in the evening but go through hell in the morning and early night. RLS shakes muscle pain it all get amplified. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions.
