I took a bunch of focasin today (ADD med) and I am still wired. I have some Ambien. Will the Ambien let me fall asleep, or will the stimulants keep me awake? if I take ambien and cant fall asleep, will I hallucinate?

The ambien will most likely help you sleep, but its pretty hard to tell you for sure, if you took a lot of Focalin then it will probably overpower the Ambien, etc.

the key is do not stay up.
if you take the ambien, lay in bed and rest even if you cannot sleep. until you can sleep. hopefully it does not take long. but even if it takes hours, i would not get out of bed. gotta commit to it. or wait to take the ambien until you feel ready to do so.
IME, taking ambien during a stimulant comedown and staying up results in being delirious. this is something to avoid.

oh, hopefully OP is already fast asleep.

ambien will def PUT you to sleep..the focalin might wake u up again later tho..in my experience mixing those two things i will fall asleep but ill wake up again later..but focalin is easier to fall asleep on than other stronger stims..depends on if you have a tolerance to ambien as well

sadly i'm still awake, I haven't taken any ambien yet because the focasin has me so wired that I feel like it wont make me fall asleep but will probably make me hallucinate (which I don't want right now). some dope or even suboxene would be perfect right now but unfortunantly I'm clean and cant get any opiates anyway.
one time I took an Adderall in the afternoon and a muscle relaxer called Flexeril at night to help me sleep, and I tripped like crazy all night with no sleep. if that can make me trip then I think focasin/ambien would definitely make me trip.

well i just took a boat load of focalin too, but i guess my tolerance is pretty high..i can fall asleep on it..like not fast but it will happen, usually if im using stims im drinking too so i think that off sets the sleepiness a bit..i dont think you will "totally hallucinate" on one ambien, in my experience you have to take more...and i hear you with the subs etc-i cant do opiates anymore but that was always the BEST way to get comfy at night..geeking out in the middle of the night sucks..

good advice...deciding to mess around the house on ambien/stims at 3 am doesnt always turn out well..it def does make u do some weird ass shit. once i ate an entire jar of grey pupon mustard..l..for no reason..i guess in that state of mind it seemed reasonable

I HAD to laugh at this... I abused Ambien *so* much way back in highschool and I've done some equally random and weird shit... you can't make up Ambien stories. You can only share them with friends afterwards
I no longer allow the drug to enter my body anymore, however. I abused it to the point where it permanently degraded my vision. That, and it was decidedly turning my mind into mush.
