ambien after amphetamines

im going to take 90mg vvyanse then take ambien to help me sleep tonight. should you wait a certain amount of time to take the ambien after the vyvanse?
since im taking vyvanse late in the day ill probably still be feeling the effects when i want to go to bed tonight. would it be safe to take the ambien to go to bed tonight if im still feeling the vyvanse in me?
 
Mixing uppers and downers is never a fool proof idea. I have done this before with no adverse interactions, but hey, everyone is different. You probably won't have any issues. It feels strange.
 
all i can say is make sure you wait until you start crashing before you take the ambien cause if you take it to soon you might hallucinate from the ambien which is no fun
 
well whenever i take vyvanse i dont crash until the next day and insomnia is no fun. will the ambien still help me to sleep?
 
Yes, but don't expect a restful night. You will likely be tossing and turning all night.
 
it should i have used it many times coming down from ritalin and adderall I have only had one bad reaction what dose of ambien do you plan on taking cause it is week when compared to benzos
 
ok and i have a question about the hours i need to sleep for after taking ambien. it says 6-8 hours. what if i wake up a little before 6 hours?
 
ok. and my dilema is that i want to wait as long as possible to go to sleep tonight to the point where im hardly feeling the vyvanse. the problem is ive got school in the morning and have to wake up at 630. if im feeling the vyvanse still around 10 or 11pm and ill have to take it still feeling it or else if i wait until like 12 or 1 am i wont get the full amount of sleep. i was just unaure if the two would react badly if i still was "buzzed" from the vyvanse like serious health issues. and if i woke up earlier than the 6-8 hours i was unsure if that could cause problems too
 
Don't worry about heath issues, there are none at doses you are taking. Anyway the whole upper/downer thing isn't such as bad as some people may say, doctors prescribe uppers and downers to people all the time and there are no complications. It comes from HIGH doses or when combining coke with a powerful drug like heroin intravenously. A simple 10-20mg of Ambien after a night of 90mg d-amp is not going to be a problem. You can take the Ambien as soon as you feel like it. Take it whenever you want.
 
You are more prone to sleep walking with this combo. If you wake up and your car is wrecked, and you still made it home somehow... Well, you know what happened...

Hypnotics and uppers just aren't good to mix when the upper is still in full swing...
 
Its fine, no need to worry. I was on downers and uppers for 11 years. I took the upper the same time I took the downer. In fact I believe I was on the same combo you were for a few months. Of course I took the Ambien at least 6 hours after I dosed the Vyvanse. No need to do it sooner because I always want to get the most out of my amphetamines.
 
haha ok thanks alot k'd i feel ALOT better about it now. ill most likeley be taking the ambien 7-8 hours after vyvanse
 
Dude i would find something else. Because if you cannot fall asleep you will be tripping mad, and the comedown from the stim will make you all anxious and shit. Find a benzo for sure
