Alcohol + Weed + ZOLPIDEM 30mg : Hard to explain, not what I was hoping (short)
Evening.
Had a try of Stilnox (Ambien) last night and wrote this up. Nothing special... I've just gotten into the habit of writing trip reports for myself and I like to share

The ambien/stilnox/zolpidem trip seems very hard to describe. Not even a trip, as such, but more just a slightly altered state of conciousness... to be honest I was quite disappointed. Then again, maybe I'm in that portion of the population that doesn't get the hardcore visual effects?
The night started with plenty of cones and a few drinks, starting around 8pm. M, L, A, T and T2 are pilling, but I've decided to try Ambien so I'm not taking pills. I was drinking and smoking cones all night til about 4am while these guys went crazy, and then I did my Ambiens. I'll skip that part of the night, cause it wasn't really interesting.
I wasn't that fucked up when I took the Ambiens... I was incredibly tired but not really smashed. I was a little drunk though.
Took 20mg Ambien at approximately 4am. The body sensations were quite nice... I had this amazing heaviness in me that made it almost impossible to get up once I'd had a seat. I also had an amazing loss of motor skills and found myself falling, tripping over, and headbutting things. Not to mention the slurred speech... words cannot describe the shit that came out of my mouth, yet I was on my own the whole time
But what happened to the visuals? I had no hallucinations whatsoever, and I was rather disappointed. I took another 10mg tablet about 5am, and was hoping that would top me up. To make sure, I smoked a few cones and sat in front of the computer.
This time, things did get a little wierd, but not really vivid like I was hoping. I WAS getting some MAD dreams... I would nod off for 5 minutes or so and start dreaming some crazy shit, then wake up and think about it for 5-10 minutes, then repeat process. This happened about 5 or 6 times, then I fell asleep.

All in all, I was disappointed with the trip. You see, I'm one for tripping and freaking out... I love it... and I'd heard all these reports about Zolpidem causing hallucinations and stuff, so naturally I was keen as mustard. Unfortunately, it wasn't as good as it's made out to be.
Chances are I won't be doing Zolpidem again, although I have 4 pills left over (40mg all up) so I may dump all of those at once and see how I go. I definitely won't be paying for it again though, unless I'm buying it to actually sleep.
