So, I'm a deliriant explorer (mainly Datura/Brugmansia, orphenadrine, Amanita Muscaria) and I discover amantadine (haven't took yet). Is very close to memantine, despite the fact that memantine is a "clean dissociative" in my experiences, amantadine it's said to be more deliriant. There's no many trip report with this substance and I'm interested about the effects. Is like DPH or something like that? If not, what the differences?

It is very close chemically to memantine but real effects are two completely different things.
Memantine was actually pleasant, u feel that dopamine and it makes opioids much more potent. It was good on it's own - too good. The only substance which made me little bit more crazy than is ok and i didn't realised how out of reality it made me.
Amantadine was like no effects + seizures. Thats all.

Thank you for shared your experience. Amantadine did not for you? (about psychoactivity, beyond seizures).
Memantine is good, but hard and expensive to get for many reasons.

Amantadine is more of a psychostimulant, along the lines of amphetamine + ketamine.
I never noticed any deliriant aspects, except in a disassociative sense. Otherwise I was able to function although I did fall once from my skateboard...
Amantadine did something once, when combined with sleep deprivation, weed, dxm, some benzos probably and it was very short absolutely psychedelic shift in reality.
It was nice. Seizures were not.
Memantine is actually great for providing some form of reinforcement, anxiolysis, mild trippy feelings like dxm just more clean less intense much longer acting and combination of memantine with opioids made opioids at least 2 timeas as potent ( good effects and side effects, both ).
I LOVED MEMANTINE but it is the only substance which made me psychotic without me knowong i am psychotic for quite some time and it resulted in life disaster. Now I know it just made me do inevitable unexpectedly, it just occured but same things will happen even without that psychotic mindset but it would last A LOT LONGER.
Both are damgerous so...choose memantine, much more interesting effects and no seizures.
