Stimulants Am on Adderall 5mg's. How do I get the doc to up my dosage?

I was recently prescribed adderall 5mg after not doing so well on Ritalin(zombie like effects). I have used adderall before (not to abuse the hell out of it. Like a weekend study helper) and to be honest, I do not feel a damn thing off of just 5mg. The doctor said if I don't feel anything try 2 of the 5mg's to make it 10mg. So I did and still, not hardly anything.
So my question to you all is, how do I get the doc to up my mg to something worthwhile without looking desperate or like I'm faking it, which I'm not.

^What he said. We can't tell you what to say to your doc to get more drugs.

The best advice is to just be honest with him and work with him to treat whatever it was prescribed to you for.
