Am I sick or is this the comedown? (Speedball)

Ok, yesterday afternoon I did two one inch lines of what I was told was coke with "just a little heroin". Then at 3am I woke up with horrible diarrhea and vomiting. And after about an hour I was able to go back to sleep. Then I woke up again at 8am with the same thing. My question is as the title says, Am I coincidentally sick or is this my body reacting to the Heroin?

*Yes I've done coke before.
*I have never tried H.
*I'm usually a regular methamphetamine user but can't find a supplier and I'm in the middle of moving so I haven't tried to make my own. Oh, and a gram lasts me 2 months. I measure out my daily dose and use it as an Adderall replacement. I have adult ADD but currently have insurance problems.
*I'm not looking to get high. Just to manage the ADD.
*I've been searching bluelight for an answer for over 2 hours before creating this post.
 
You're not sick, assuming you mean sick as in withdrawal sick. Not from anything to do with heroin. You can't become dependant that fast, the heroin would have largely worn off by now, and being sick as in withdrawal sick makes sleep next to impossible. It's something else. Either a coincidence, or something else in it made you sick. But it's not the heroin.

Withdrawal can be ruled out entirely, heroin can make new users feel sick from using it, but it should come on pretty fast and heroin only lasts 12 hours or so at best. So it's very unlikely to be that either. And heroin doesn't have a comedown like stimulants do. It either wears off and it's over, or it wears off into withdrawal, but withdrawal takes at LEAST a week or so continuous use, and a lot longer than weeks for some people depending on use.

So, not withdrawal from heroin, not comedown from heroin, probably not effects of heroin, that leaves coincidental illness, or something else in the drugs unrelated to any heroin or opioids.

Thank you a ton. I basically had read that but nothing I found mentioned 12 hrs after. So I was confused and concerned. But after reviewing my food consumption yesterday, I think it was McDonald's...I should've known better lol.
 
Really 12 hours is probably an over estimation. When I was using heroin IV every day I had a pretty heavy habit, I'd generally have 2 big shots a day, maybe 3 if there was money. And even then it could still often top out at closer to 8 hours. So most people aren't likely to see 12 hours duration of effect. So in your case I'd expect it to have definitely worn off a while before that. So it can't be new user related nausea.

It could be something you ate, or a cold. But it still could be related to the drugs. If so it might be something it was cut with. All I can say for sure is that it doesn't make sense for it to be related to the heroin based on your description.
 
I remember one of the first times I did heroin I did way too much and ended up puking all weekend... so I think its definitely possible that the heroin had something to with your nausea even if it wasn't withdrawal.

Yeah but the original poster suggested he didn't get sick for a few hours, and more importantly that he was still sick well after the heroin should have worn off.

Now, I'll admit that for whatever reason I'm not one of those people to have ever had much of an issue with opiate related nausea. So I'm not 100% sure what it's like. But I don't see how it makes any sense that it would still be causing a problem after the heroin has worn off. Which 12 hours after use it should have.

Weird. I've never known heroin to have any noticeable comedown. That said, the symptoms you describe can happen in opiate naive people after using.
