Last March, 2011, I suffered an epidural hematoma traumatic brain injury.

I was released from hospital only 9 days later (quicker than average), seemingly OK.

I went back to further check with Neurologist about a month after that and he gave me the OK to live life as I normally did, except for no contact sports until November 2011 and drinking alcohol only mildly until August 2011.

I've one many drugs such as: Adderall, Dexedrine, DXM, Valium, Xanax, Lorazepam, Clonazepam, Morphine, Hydromorphone, Percocets
all since my clean bill of health from my Neurologist.

But, I know Cocaine is one serious drug.... So, should I be fine with doing a bit now (i.e. this month some time)?

I have plenty of cocaine experience in the past. Especially in 2010. So it's not new to me.

But, input would be appreciated!

Why do you want to go back to using cocaine if you're not already addicted to it?

If you've been alright with DXM and Dextroamphetamine on separate occasions, I'd hazard that you should be okay, but it's not something anyone can tell you for certain.

^Renz - it's fun in social settings? That's my reason and have never been addicted to it.

To be honest it wouldn't be in the spirit of bluelight to advise you do anything other than leave cocaine alone.

I'd imagine with a case like yours, the spectrum of potential outcomes is too broad for anyone to confidently presume it'd be safe for you to do cocaine. As it stands, cocaine is a particularly unhealthy stimulant anyway. From the same medical standpoint I'm pretty sure nobody is 'ready' for cocaine.

It is undeniably promising, though, to have taken all those other of drugs of different varieties and not experienced anything particularly sinister.

Here I am, drunk as heck, and yet, I can't enjoy my drunkness at all?

Wanna know why.

Cause all I can think about is how much more freaking incredible I could feel if I had a nice fat line of cocaine.

Cocaine is a helluva drug man.

don't start up again :*(

Others will probably laugh at this, but just come out and ask your doctor "What are the risks of cocaine use?" He isn't the cops and he's not going to interrogate or arrest you. Of course he may exaggerate the risks, but for all anyone here knows adding cocaine to your condition could be fatal. Only your doctor knows the details of your procedure and your history, best to just be straight forward.

If you are still hiding your substance abuse from your doctor or not going to bring it up for whatever other reason, just DON'T use. Better safe than sorry, and cocaine is one drug I would not want to lose my life over

^You Don't know this.
Don't give advice if you don't know enough to do it safely. This is not a trivial decision, bad advice can have drastic consequences.

I don't think it would be right for anyone here to give you the greenlight.

I agree. At least with stimulants like Dextroamphetamine, you know exactly how much you took, and that there is nothing really fucked up in it. Cocaine is often cut with a whole bunch of bullshit, and while maybey cocaine itself might not do you any harm, who's to say it won't be cut with something that will.

Also, as someone who's been a raging IV cocaine user in the past, I would say that you might as well not start up again if you've refrained for this long. I know a lot of people manage to use cocaine sparingly, but it is a really addicting drug, and if you've suffered a brain injury, risking addiction is probably not a good idea.

Due to the specific nature of your injury, and the fact that we're dealing with HEAD TRAUMA, let's just say that no one here on bluelight can give you as good an answer as your doctor. It may seem awkward, but only your doctor knows your injury and the progress of your recovery.

I am surprised a mod has not closed this yet ( because the answer is clear not because it violates BLUA )...

Definitely do not do cocaine if you have any concerns about it whatsoever. If you are really concerned about it chances are the cocaine can just make you uncomfortable as a result of any anxiety you have about side effects anyway. I know it sounds crazy to ask a doctor about using cocaine but that is probably the safest choice.

We definitely do not know enough about you to say you will be ok.

whatever you do make sure its quality cocaine. Do not waste money on adulterants such as speedy shit that fucks up the high and gets your nose and body fucked up. Never do shitty drug up your nose or veins.
High quality cocaine will do no harm to your body if done moderately
