Am I in danger of Serotonin Syndrome?

Im currently taking 75mg's of zoloft daily and I just got a hold of a couple adderal IR. I checked the drug interaction tool on drugs.com or w/e that website is and it said it was a major interaction due to both of the pills releasing serotonin or something along those lines. However I googled and found a bunch of people that use both drugs daily with no no problems what so ever. I took about 10mg like 1.5 hrs ago and the only negative thing i can feel is my heart is pounding a bit (which almost always happens when i take add's). Also Id like to mention that my tolerance to amphetamines is pretty much at zero. So is it relatively safe to mix these? Also what should I look for in terms of symptoms of Serotonin syndrome just for worst case scenario situations..

Adderall does not affect your 5HT receptors. You should be ok. If you start to feel any SS effects, call your doctor.

The drugs interaction checker is especially cautious with this sort of thing - dopaminergic drugs often do also have some minor serotonergic activity, but nowhere near enough for you to be worried about

Freehugs, Amphetamine does have some serotonergic activity although not a significant extent. OP should be all right.

While amphetamines do have little serotonergic activity, its not significant enough to cause serotonin syndrome when combined with Zoloft or any other SSRI. I've been on the combination of amphetamines and antidepressants for nearly 15 years and never suffered any problems. Only reason I quit the amphetamines was because I started losing my hair from the long term use of Adderall/Dexedrine.
