Hey guys, Ive recently been feeling a little under the weather, and by that i mean real shit.

A while ago i drank waaaay too much. Pretty much i didnt have any food that day and drank a few energy drinks then drank almost half a bottle of whiskey. a few hours later i was making friends with the toilet. Puking like ever 10 min for the entire night and shaking violently. (very dumb, yes i know)

Ever since then if i have even half a beer i start feeling real nauseous and shaking. anything that stresses my liver seems to make me feel sick. Mushrooms, coffee everything except weed

Today i woke up and my left arm was numb, nothing unusual figured i just slept on it. an hour later and its still numb. my hands have been feeling real clammy, like i have downs and cant work them right. my teeth have started cracking/hurting (probably the energy drinks though). im always unusually cold and have a very VERY hard time sleeping and waking up.

figure its time to see a doctor lol

The thing is, i cant tell if the excessive drinking caused it initially, or if i already had some problems and they showed up because i started drinking that night. i hadnt drunk any alcohol for a very long time uptill then.

Ive been putting it off because it costs money i dont have and i have thc in my system nd im worried that will go on my record.

but what are your "second-ish" opinions on what could possibly be wrong?
My dad is an ex doctor and says ether a calcium deficiency or liver damage but shit im still pretty scared...

edit: i just took a dump and it was green lol....

lol, if you took a green dump thats bile from your liver meaning its producing bile, which is good, but also there isnt the red blood cells to make your shit brown

does liver problems run in your family? if not most likely you don't have liver damage,
you seem unhealthy with some circulation problems,

but it could also be your sotmach, maybe nothign to do with your liver, shrooms iritate the stomach, so does alcohola nd coffee, but weed is a natural naesea relief,
coffee isn't good for your, neither is beer, or anything with cafiene, its not good for your heart to drink caifene and alcohol as well

the coldness sounds like it could be part of the circulation, ask your dad if there is liver problems in your family, and then go to the doctor and get a blood test to cover all of your bases

angryteabag, you're not going to die (well, you will eventually, as will the rest of us, but not yet)
Go to the doctor and a full blood test. Then take it from there.
Good luck, and let us know how it goes <3

Ive never heard of liver problems in my family. (im eastern European, we have pretty much forced our livers to evolve to alcohol :P)
As far as circulation, yeah, my hands and feet are lead cold and pretty pale.
Although im an 18 year old who does a lot of sport so im not sure if that means anything. My fam does have low blood pressure though.

Im gonna arrange an appointment with a doctor tomorrow. been feeling nauseous all day =\

Is it possible i have a heart condition that is made worse by my marijuana consumption? ive heard that pot makes the heart pump harder and ive only started smoking it more often this year. so could there be a link?

I can understand why you're so concerned but please try to relax, speak to your doctor tomorrow and ask them to run some tests. Until then, there's no use panicking about what it could be. The chance of you having a life-threatening disease is very slim, and to be honest it actually sounds more like you've got some kind of viral infection or something. I'm sure you'll be fine <3

Also, don't worry about having THC in your system, with the blood tests that they'll be doing I doubt they'll pick up on/look for that. And even if they do find it, your medical records are confidential.

Oh, and if your teeth are hurting, go to the dentist as soon as you can!! Teeth don't fix themselves and if you've got holes in them they will only get worse, i.e. more painful. Best to get that sorted as soon as possible :)

Hangovers can go more than a day sometimes. You also could have run yourself down with the over indulgence and caught a cold or flu. If you haven't been keeping food down or having an appetite you might just be short of nutrition you need. Do see a Doctor but I don't think you need to be worrying especially as worry doesn't help anything.

Start eating a ton of fruits and veggies raw. Also calcium/magnesium pills and large doses of omega-3.

Thanks, ill eat the veggies and averages doses of omega-3, not too sure about the calcium/magnesium pills though. ill drink some milk and see what the doctor says tomorrow

thanks guys, this thread put my thoughts at ease haha

the docter will cost me $75!!?? damn it.
so i made an appointment with a docter on the other side of my city for wed (its mon now). it will cost $35.

I figure i can afford some self medicated herbal relief with the money i save till then :P

There is potentially another culprit that is causing your issues. The energy drinks.

A mate of mine never touches the stuff anymore because of a situation very similar to your own (not the severe case of vomiting) in terms of the numb arm and poor circulation to hands and feet.

The doctor told him his heart was beating differently to normal (sorry can't remember the right term) and essentially because of this it wasn't moving enough blood around which resulted in the numb arm. He slept on one side and it was the arm higher than the other that was all numb.

I could easily be wrong but ask a dr and don't forget to mention the energy drinks.

like ^^ I'm thinking energy drinks.
I've definitely done some over drinking (puking/heaving for 8 hours straight) and never had any numbness like that or anything.
Talk to your doctor! And get some vitamins in.

his heart was beating differently to normal (sorry can't remember the right term)

Arrhythmia :)
i.e. not beating to the correct rhythm

Very good call about the energy drinks too, definitely mention that to the doctor.

angryteabag, perhaps it might be a good idea to write down all the symptoms and possible contributing factors before you visit the doctor so that you don't forget to mention anything. I do that sometimes if my case is particularly complicated.

yeah, ill write them here because im too lazy to get a pen and paper

exact story no bs

About a 4 months ago i got insanely drunk at a friends house. that day i hadnt eaten anything at all and drank an energy drink. i was fine till i went to bed, after a while of lieing down i started feeling the dizzyness intensify and ran to the toilet and started vomiting pretty badly. felt better so i went back to bed, at this point i started to sober up. i started shaking/feeling cold and after about 10 min i had to run back and vomited again. i drank some water and sat there and kept heaving till the morning. when i got home i had some medical charcoal and felt better about 15 hours after.

a few weeks later i had some maigc mushrooms, i was fine for the first 4 hours so i redosed to boost the trip. after about 8 hours of tripping i was cold as, broke into a cold sweat and started shaking pretty bad and felt like throwing up but didnt. i was also tripping and thought i had eaten the wrong kind of mushrooms so i legitimately thought i was going to die and freaked out like you wouldnt believe. sobered up and was fine

a few weeks later i was at a friends house playing drinking games, i was weary because ive been having bad luck with my substance use so i took it easy. had one beer and a shot of vodka. i felt reeeeal cold and within an hour had to go home because i was feeling pretty bad.

took a break for like 3-ish months and thought i was in the clear, had half a beer at my friends place and once again, cold, shaking, feeling sick.

since then ive just been feeling a little off. like just bad.

symptoms:

>I feel the occasional nausea when just straight (no intake of nothing) but its not too bad
>any time i drink even a minute amount of alcohol i feel really sick and not drunk
>caffine gives me an upset stomach but i can live with it
>i have seeerrriouus trouble sleeping, last night i slept at 4 and the night before 3.30 etc
>i feel tired a lot
>mentally slow, like shit doesnt make sense, ive got like no memory and feel sort of hazy at times
>my teeth are wasting away (going a weird color towards the tips), hurting and cracking
>blood pressure is 115/75 but with Arrhythmia sometimes. at one point the blood pressure in one arm was different to the other
>I feel cold a lot, feet and hands stay cold even after i go for a run

my habits

>i drink a fair amount of energy drinks. sometimes i have a coffee in the morning then a red bull later on if i go out training
>i dont eat much food at all, today i had cereal for breakfast, 1 sandwich with some chicken for lunch, a small plate of fried beef for dinner. - but i put on weight reeeaal fast, i just dont feel like eating (remembering that was a mision)
>i dont drink much water
>i smoke the occasional cigarette and do like to indulge in the use of MJ (a few times a week)
>exercise regularly (like every day) - often train high

i had 8mg of codine/paracetamol last night and started feeling sick =\

history:

last year when i started university i couldnt afford shit and i wasnt allowed to get financial help because i was too young (skipped a year of school) so basically for the whole year i would buy myself a redbull in the morning and drink it throughout the day so that the caffeine would suppress my appetite till i got home. i failed that year because i couldnt pay attention or remember anything from class.

now that i put it down i was just begging for something to go wrong. wow, ive been living extremely unhealthily..

i mean im not like a cancer patient and in constant pain or anything but it does scare me to think that maybe i have a failing organ or something that could possibly kill me without me knowing. plus it sucks that ANY substance makes me sick. im probably gonna miss out on the rest of mushie season because of this =[
any suggestions?

It sounds like you have liver health issues. You need to see a doctor and get some basic blood tests to see exactly what's going on.

In the meantime, I'd reccomend the following.

1. Do not drink alcohol
2. Do not take APAP/Acetaminophen/Paracetamol or any medication containing it.
3. Buy some high quality liver health promoting medications and supplements including SAMe (s-adenosyl-methionine), NAC (n-acetyl-l-cysteine), Milk Thistle, fish oil, and a standard multi-vitamin.
4. Cut out your energy drinks or at least switch to diet ones. Reducing your intake or large amounts of high fructose corn syrup will reduce the strain on your liver.

You said it man. You feel sick because you are making yourself sick. Good diets consist of mostly plants. Eat more plants. Like when you get hungry, eat 4 whole carrots. Later on, eat an entire bell pepper and a few spoonfuls of peanut butter (natural, non-salted, with peanuts as the only ingredient). Find a co-op if you can because they will offer seasonal vegetables grown locally (and probably in good soil without chemicals). This stuff will cost a bit more, but what will poor health cost?

^^ Excellent suggestions :)
I always have a bag of carrots in the fridge, they make the best snack!
