Opioids am i free and clear of wd's?

i went on a 2 week opiate binge, tapering my benzos at a good rate, and now im off opiates for a week and continuing my benzo taper. now..if its been 3 days since my last day of opiate use, and the train is leaving the station on time and in one solid link, is it safe to say i didnt use enough to get opiate wd's?

i am continuing my taper, but in 4 more days, when i use opiates again, i only plan to use 3 days so i can take 3 comfortable days off benzos, and gradually getting my benzo tolerance waaay down. i just want my train cars to leave the station in box cars, not explosions. thanks. -aphex
 
^the only thing im really noticing is joint cramps, which i often get anyways(and the desire to get a nice podd buzz). usually the stomach is what i notice first, they usually are accompanied by the chills. so far so good!
 
You might be "free and clear now", but I PROMISE YOU THIS:

If you start using opiates again in 4 days, you are far from "free and clear" of W/D. Maybe this particular w/d, but you will be in for many, many more. Even with the current "rules" you have for using now, which I guarantee get broken.
 
^ I second this. But good that you are tapering the benzos, just don't replace one addiction for another.

Btw, what kind of opiate did you consume?

^just hydrocodone. if i take 5mg twice a day i can easily go without benzos. ive been having success with this, so far. i want to get my benzo tolerance a little lower so i can jump off for a few weeks and lose my tolerance. i really dont have a tolerance to opiates. the most ive used is 5 days in a row, then i take a week off, but try to just do it once, two days in a row tops. very low doses. i accidentally fucked my benzo tolerance taking 10mg of phenazepam, so im truying to remedy that. im taking it easy, for sure. thanks for the feedback -aphex

so far all ive taken is 1.5mg klonoping, got it down from 2mg over 2 or 3 weeks, im not quite ready to go lower, as i feel it fading quicker, and i need a few etizolam as pick me ups. all my doses have been lowering overall. its just time to clean out for a few weeks and trying to do it painlessly, since i never really let it get too bad.

20mg valium, 8mg etizolam is the worst ive gone, and thats happened like 2x a month. ive been doing pretty good. just mainting it. opiates help, but i think i can increase my opiate use ever so slightly to take days off benzos completely. i went 4 days last week, and am planning to again in a few more days. it should only get easier.
