Am I fat?

I am 5'9 and weigh about 185, male, 33. I used to weigh 175 2 years ago. I had lipo suction on my stomach. Most of my body is either lean or feels hard but no definition. When I look in the mirror from a distance, I look very lean but not cut by any means. My question is why do I weigh so much but don't look fat or big? I do work out 4 days a week and moderate what i eat but enjoy cookies on the weekend.
 
OP have you checked your body frame size at all? I think that the weight has also something to do with bone mass. If you are leaning towards a large body frame then this could be the possibility

I am not big boned. Also, I weighed 175 a couple of years ago so I don't think I added bone mass.
 

bro,trust me,you are fatter than u should be,there is no definition between chest and abs its like one big blanket of fat,your niples look like u have high estrogen but that may be just shitty picture,and your quads are small to your weight

also your hips,thats exact opposite of the male V shape... dont get me wrong I am fat too,but I have dat V

if I was you I would start eating more protein and lifting,good thing about noob is that first few months u build muscle and burn fat at the same time,but once that time is over you get that precious effect only with heavy steroids,so enjoy it

The surgeon who performed my lipo said that I have wider hip bones. And I definitely do not have moobs.
 
OP you are not fat. If you want to tone your abs down, you can do some situps/ab exercises but it has to be intense hardcore training. Form what you have mentioned on your other threads, it seems you are eating healthy on regular days.

drdmike, it's not useful to ask us if you're "fat" because that's not a word that an accurately indicate anything. What you need to tell us is what your goals are, and how you would like to look. Based on that we could help you figure out if you're meeting your goal or not.

How does a pound of fat weigh more than a pound of muscle? And what is muscle density?
 
drdmike... listen,go for deadlifts and squats,best hypertrophy excersises.... the more muscle u have,the more fat u burn,muscle is hungry bitch it burns calories even when u rest

This is actually true, my trainer introduced me to full body workouts and I have noticed a huge different even if there are weeks when I wont workout fully.
 
Just curious drmike, I ran across some of your posts today in different areas from am I fat, to I'm not an addict I cab quit anytime...my question is why are you hunting so hard for reassurance, compliments, or back patting so much?

What upsets me, are things that you've said like I'mnotan addict I can stop when I want..blah blah if that's true, why you here taking up space and posting things that have no intrinsic value ? Pulling people in with a title of going through withdrawal, and it's about cookies,!!? Come on ..their are a lot of genuine people looking for genuine i information and support for serious things and you wanna know if your fat.....unfortunately I can't say 100% what I'd like to...so I'll end with this. Seriously consider your intentions for being here and asking the questions you do. Your taking away from people, time and space.

Yet almost all of your posts have been about me. May I suggest that you stop taking time and space away from other people instead of focusing on me? Maybe invest in some basic grammar lessons as well (i.e. it's 'you're' or 'you are'; not 'your'). There are so many people on here that can use genuine help but you're not doing them any good. Why are you even on here?

You're clearly out of shape and pretty unhealthful, though.
