Am I Experiencing Opiate Withdrawal, Or Is That Not Possible?

Okay, so I have some pretty unpleasant symptoms. Nothing too bad, but they are really disrupting my life nonetheless:

Abdominal cramping (mild)
Diarrhea (mild)
Restlessness
Insomnia
Cold/Hot sweats (blankets on window closed, blankets kicked off window wide open, repeat 100 times a night)
Complete loss of appetite
Depression (major)
Discomfort (feels almost like coming down from stims, except the entire day) (major)
Intense cravings (major)

The confusing thing is, I just CAN'T see how I've used enough to get WD symptoms! I've been on kratom for months and months, but have stopped for weeks at a time before and never had a single symptom. I started using heroin twice weekly, did that for 3 months, then lost control maybe 2 weeks and used it maybe 3-4 times per week along with some codeine cwes (which never did shit all except cut the cravings). I've stopped using everything now: no kratom, no codeine, no heroin, no nothing.

When I used, I only used 60mg intranasally, although for the last week I was injecting, and only using 30mg each time. I've been off drugs for 2.5 days now.

What am I going through here?? I had such a lame habit... it wasn't daily, and it wasn't a large dose, and now I have all this bullshit. What do you guys think? WD symptoms? Or is that just not possible based on my meager habit? The worst parts of it are the mental aspects, I think. Luckily, I'm not puking, I'm still getting some sleep, and I don't have goosebumps... The worst part is the depression and feeling of unwellness. I already have depression, so maybe that's why it seems so much worse? I can't imagine what I would do if I had SERIOUS WD symptoms... I can barely handle this!

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

EDIT: Based on what I HAD 3 weeks ago (1 gram) and what I have now (0), it seems I'm underestimating my usage... It averages out to 45 mg per day for 3 weeks, although it was probably more like 60mg insufflated, 5 times a week. Gosh, I guess my brain's playing tricks on me, because I really didn't think I had used that much (it's a lot for me, anyway). Does this make more sense based on my symptoms?

I think you seem to have answered your own question here. I'm sorry you find yourself in opiate withdrawal. Its a hard luck life when we reach this point and I would consider shelving the opiates for good. Serious withdraws like this indicate that some substantial changes have went down in your brain chemistry and it will be really hard if not impossible to avoid the withdrawal and dependence for a while. I wish you the best in this struggle.

Yikes, so is 3 weeks of 5/7 days a week enough to fuck myself over like that?? Shit...

Yeah it's completely possible and based on your list of symptoms I would say that you are most definitely experiencing opiate withdrawal. It sounds like you don't want to keep doing this stuff so that's a good thing. The thing about opiates is that they kind of sneak up on you. If I were you I would get out now while the going isn't too rough, you've already made it two, almost three days right? Just keep going, the first 72 hours are the worst but it peaks at the 72 hour mark and gets a bit easier as the days go by. Your physical symptoms may only last a week if you're lucky but everyone is different. Just keep in mind that it could be a WHOLE LOT WORSE and count yourself lucky that it didn't go too far when you ditched the stuff for life.

read your post again.. and then ask yourself.. am I going through withdrawals? lol.

yes, you are withdrawing. I dont care what the amount was; esp. if you were a shooter at some point. you def. picked up a habit and are going through the bullshit that comes w/ it. if youre ready to stop, then keep fighting through these days and dont let the dope get you back.
