I recently got a hold of some oxycodones from a lady who needed them for cancer well actually lol she wanted me to throw them away I was like this is a gift from heaven being at the right place at the right time. I threw the bottle away minus 22 of them. Ive always wanted to try oxycodone I never tried any opiates before these, they were like 10mg/325mg apap if i remember correctly but they were instant release oxycodone 10mgs i looked them up that day. I liked the 20mg I have no tolerance so it was actually pretty sweet it wasnt overwhelming like my idea of nodding out but definite incredible euphoria better high than things like cannabis and alcohol I enjoy the clean euphoric sensation of oxycodone without the overwhelming mental high.

Well I did 2 a day for 11 days no break I thought no way I could get addicted but am I wrong? today is the first day after using them and all throughout the day I was normal but now I feel sick. I can go cold turkey right i mean 20mg for 11 days I should not be addicted right I just need clarity because right now I am very nauseas I wasnt even ever nauseas while i was doing them. But right now I am very nauseas feel like Im gonna throw up at the thought of hot food and Im a bit uncomfortable I tried to rule it as my imagination but I cant lay down in one spot without getting anxious and violently moving around to attempt to get in a relax position that i cant seem to find. Sorry if you guys with real addictions laugh at this but I needed to ask this just for my own comfort, you guys with experience do you think I am experiencing withdrawal after 11 days or should I be okay or should I get something otc to stop me from getting sick. Just needed someones advice thanks

While it isn't common for somebody to pick up a physical dependency after only 11 days.. it is certainly possible.

You were doing a very small amount, so I imagine you're psyching yourself out and building up whatever symptoms you are feeling in your head. It's definitely possible you picked up a little habit, everyone is different and it does happen quick like that for some people, but it's going to be very mild and pass in a few days.

Just ride it out and take it as a sign to stop messing with opiates.

You will certainly experience a little withdrawal after an 11 day binge on oxy. Oxy is powerful stuff and also really nice - as you now know. But this is a good experience for you - I don't mean that in a condescending way (as in "You shouldn't have done that, now you must suffer!!") - I mean that you've had a good taste of oxy and what it's all about, and now you'll get an idea of what it's like on the way out.

Think of it like a hangover from alcohol. You drink lots and then you get hungover. Same thing for opiates. Doesn't mean you're all addicted now, it just means you're experience the hangover or crash or whatever that comes with virtually ANY drug you can think of. Any drug that has an effect, has an after-effect. The stronger the effect, the stronger the hangover (generally speaking, this is a broad statement).

You will probably feel pretty shit for two or three days as the oxy leaves your system. Now you know what it's like. Stop and think about the experience. An 11 day binge caused whatever you're feeling, and given that oxy is a strong opioid, I guess you're not feeling too hot. That's the consequence of taking a strong drug for days in a row.

That's OK. No one's gonna laugh at you or say you're an idiot (well they better fucking not on this site). You've tried something that people get hooked on, and I think you can see clearly now how it happens. What if there was another oxy there? You'd feel better real quick if you took it, but then you'd be delaying the hangover. And you delay the hangover enough and it becomes a full-blown addiction. It's not black and white. It happens in a strange, under-the-radar kind of way.

Just know that you'll be perfectly fine in a day or two. Chalk it up to experience. What you do next is up to you. Stay safe.

I calmed down alot still defnitely going through something thats not just in my head still but not bad. More hangover than withdrawal now that I think of the things i hear about withdrawals Im definitely playing with fire though I can see how addiction sneaks up on people though. You will never know how something effected you until you stop using it. I def will try opiates again but not like that and not any time soon. Thanks for the replies though they helped me think realistically myself.

Sounds like acute withdrawal to me. But you will be fine. You havent OD on oxy or Apap. So just tread a little more carefully in future :) happens to the best of us.

Definitely not a big deal...completely normal if you were doing it routinely for 11 days...I mean, your body's going to have a reaction when you take that new drug away...certainly nothing to be concerned about...

You'll probably just be tired, depressed, anhedonic, and a little sore for a couple days. Take an OTC painkiller. Sleep won't come easy but I am sure you will be able to get some, take an OTC sleep aid if necessary. It might be hard to eat, but try to muscle some stuff down because it will make you feel better. Drink plenty of fluids. It will be very mild, so don't psych your self out.
