buperenorphine or however it spelled for 99% of the people who use it is more stimulating than sedating
Because in my limited knowledge of Suboxone is used to treat opiate withdrawal which I dont want my doctor thinking im withdrawing from opiates that obviously didnt come from her prescription pad. and yes, I really am a cancer patient. Ths is a very typical medication regimine. A family member who just passed in July from the same thing took only percocets for her pain. And you cant be serious with "just screams addict." have you read any of your own posts? Come on now lol, are we ever going to move past this "buzz" comment? Thanks for the advice though btw.You have stage 3 lung cancer, and you don't want to make your doctor "suspicous"? WTF??? Not to mention 10mg isn't much relief for cancer pain. I am sorry, the "not a needle person" and refusal to even consider suboxoxone scream drug addict(though if your really a cancer patient, you can get a LOT better medication than you get now) also, bupe isn't the best pain medicine.Granted, the tiny oxy dose your on is like candy compared to bupe, but for real pain, bupe has the disadvantage of a ceiling effect.
And oxymorphone will definitely have you nodding if 10mg of oxy has you sleepy LOL.
But hydromorphone is worth looking into. It has a speedy effect, and with your extremely low tolerance, you could snort them, and get your "pain relief/buzz" and get some energy to boot.
(BTW, you literally said more than once you wanted a buzz, which you won't get from ~8mg oxy anyway, so you have NO RIGHT to jump down anyone's throat my friend...)
you're best off discussing this with your doctor because he's the one with the prescription pad.
percocet = oxycodone/apap by the way. perhaps if you're only taking 2 x 20mg of the OP's a day your doctor might be open to taking the equivalent percocet dosage though you'll be dosing more than twice a day if you need round the clock relief, which suspect because you're on extended release meds. the amount of APAP you'll be consuming shouldn't be a concern either, not until you're bordering on the 4000mg/day limit. long term it may be an issue.
Is Roxicodone extended release?Or he could ask for OXY IR's...oh yeah...americans have that cute name for those...Roxicodone. No need to worry about APAP with those.
