Alternative to empty ampules?

Hey there,

I plan on making a number of injectable solutions, like some psychedelic tryptamines among other things... however I only have 1 empty K vial / ampule left and the self-healing rubber stopper is getting worn out.

What do you guys / what is possible to, use for storing a sterile wheel-filtered solution in the fridge? I am having a hard time finding stuff on the internet to order for that as well, like at medical supply stores.
I would prepare syringes in bulk if only my doses were constant..


Any tips?

From looking into your question it seems that tryptamines are generally degraded in light, heat, and oxygen so isolating them from these things would be your best bet. Any vacuum sealed container would do, if not I suppose you could use a small airtight glass container suffice you seal it using plastic wrap to protect it from being exposed to more oxygen. Keep them in a cool dry place.

Thanks but my questions weren't really about storage for stability (for example 5-MeO-DMT is not *that* sensitive and I don't plan on preparing huge stashes - also I know plenty about that subject ), but about storage for keeping solution sterile while still being able to withdraw doses into syringes.
Ampules are designed perfectly for that - but maybe there are ways to fashion a DIY surrogate....

I would hate to have to use a wheel filter for every dose that I take, they are much too expensive for that. Although if there are ways to use wheel filters more than once safely (for example by keeping them filled up with liquid and putting stoppers on both sides?) I am also interested to hear about that.

Ok so you're looking for a container similar to an ampule were you can draw the solution directly from the container to insure sterility.

not a diy solution but I've found that bacteriostatic water vials are fairly easy to find on the net, though not usually on medical supply stores - they get sold by vendors of performance enhancing peptides for bodybuilders.

If you're not in a rush, just Google "buy sterile vials" or something similar. They aren't that hard to find online. I'm not sure if we're currently allowed to post links to HR-related supplies (guideline is being updated AFAIK) otherwise I'd just post some links for where to buy them.

You can buy small amber vials online with the injection seal on the top. The seal is removable. The rubber and the glass you can boil in distilled water to sterilize because AFAIK the rubber is pharmaceutical grade.

I guess I forgot to mention that I live in the Netherlands and it seems to be considerably more difficult to find something like those here. For example saline vials that I can find are mostly made of plastic. Other google efforts for something closeby came up with nothing which is why I came here. I guess I am sort of in a hurry or would prefer to get them sooner rather than later considering that I am eager to try my 5-MeO-DMT for example. If it's not really possible, then I will try to get them abroad, yes.
I have come across such peptide websites once or twice, just checked again but no water or saline yet. I'll keep trying other stuff, again: thanks for the help.
