yeah i know, i wouldnt dream of turning up anywhere un-ininvited normally, especially to someones gaff whome ive never met, but as that situation was causing a bit of concern i think the normal conventions could have been offset a bit by that, sure i understand it may have been unwelcome and awkward, but the main idea seemed to be just to see if he was OK ?

This caused shit at the time but ask Shambles if he thinks I made the right decision. I think he will say I did. And besides which I was only saved from driving there at literally the last minute. Can't remember exactly but basically Shambles came back online or answered someone's text on the morning I was due to drive to Fort Sham. I remember Brimz not getting it at the time. But all the people panicking had no history or experience with Shammy at that time and didn't appreciate that long gaps from the internet were basically the norm for him, not a reason to get the police out.

And I'm with Swampdragon. Turn up at my door unannounced and I'm unlikely even to answer it. Though I love you all. Mostly.
