Hi All,
Let's start with an introduction of myself. I'm a 44 years old male from Amsterdam (the Netherlands) and used lots of weed from the age of 17. The last 2 years I started loving raves again and doing harder drugs as well. Never did opiates.
The most important feature of this site I consider harm-reduction. The posts on using opiates/heroin were that good, I never even considered trying it.
People mostly look down on drug users. However, I never came across a site where the love and support of people using drugs were as great as this one. People like NSA, herbavore, Captain.Heroin, ad lib, Maya, T. Calderone, omen_owen mk2, sekio, SwampFox56, djsim and Eveleivibe (And I'm sorry to not have mentioned several deserving others) probably prevented more harm than most doctors do. I really think you can/should be proud at yourselves!!! You have all owned my respect for your warning, loving and caring about fellow users!
People might find this a triggering post. If more experienced users than me, know this is never going to work and might make people miserable for trying it, please remove this post or offending parts of it!!!
Now I have a question. Say I were to mix drugs:
- 0.8g Weed on Monday
- 6ml GHB on Tuesday
- 50mg amphetamines(speed, not meth) on Wednesday
- 1.2g Weed on Thursday
- Nothing on Friday
- 100mg amphetamines(speed, not meth) on Saturday or XTC every 3 months
- 2mg Etizolam on Sunday
Would this prevent this from me getting addicted? What answers would be most likely?
1) No, I would be using all drugs at random because I wont have the discipline to keep this schedule.
2) Yes, I would be able to refrain from the other drugs because I can always look forward to use drugs.
3) No, I would be using speed more often because of it's usefulness at work.
4) No, not using on a Sunday would be too much to ask.
5) No, stressful periods at work/personal life would break my schedule and I would not be able to return to it.
6) Yes, because I wouldn't get addicted, Since I would enjoy drugs much more cause of lower tolerance to any of them.
7) No, I'll soon develop a DOC and start skipping the other drugs.
No, It's just not possible to use drugs in this way and I am even naive to try it.
9) No, This kind of use will result in sleep deprivation and all kinds of negative consequences because of it.
10) No, I just use to often, even these 'low' amounts.
11) Yes, the amounts I am using is low enough.
12) No, the amounts I am using will slowly grow unmanageable.
I would appreciate when you would indicate your 3 most likely (more if you want to) answers. Like: 3,4,7 for example.
If you think I missed answers or was incomplete with my descriptions, please be so kind to add them.
As you might have guessed English isn't my native language and I apologize for typo's and poor language constructs.
This is not a study, it's only used for my benefit (and hopefully others on this site).
If I missed threads about this same subject, please give me a referral to them, or move it to the correct forum, Thx!
Wishing happiness to all of you!
