Altered sense of smell after MDMA use?

About a week ago, I had 150 mg of pure MDMA in a capsule, and about 1/3g of coke. It was tested and I know it was good. The next night I had 200mg. Since then, I haven't had any drugs or alcohol. I've noticed my sense of Smell and taste are greatly enhanced... I can smell things much more than I ever could before. Everything smells and tastes a little bit odd as well. Has anyone ever experienced this? Any ideas why? It has lasted about week. I've been eating well and taking 5htp. Thank you
