If you have low tolerance to both then the combination could potentially be dangerous.
If you are used to taking 75 hydro then there's probably less of a problem.
generally, for someone with no tolerance to benzos. 0.5 or even 0.25 mg xanax is the starting dosage, so 0.75mg is 1.5 times that dosage.
long story short, tread lightly, mixing opiates and benzos can be very dangerous.
I personally have no experience with mixing the two, never taken opiates except for smoking opium once or twice. But I do have mild tolerance to benzos. When I first started [on xanax] I was told to try 0.25mg first and then go ahead with 0.5 mg if there were no ill reactions.

75-85mg of hydro is my normal dose of hydro. I've only taken xanax twice before this, at between 1-2mg.

I'd say you'll feel more sedated than usual.
I never found xanax to be particularly euphoric. So. I'm not sure it'll add any euphoria to your high.
And if you've taken 1-2 mg you should be ok at .5 or .75 with the hydro, but you may just end up with your normal opiate buzz but more sedated.

Of all the benzos, xanax to me is only euphoric to stop panic attacks. If I am not having a panic attack it makes me wicked tired.
Valium on the other hand is amazing. Temazepam as well.
