Alprazolam to bring back intoxication?

Hypothetically, if one were to have a few drinks and then take a xanax when he was sobering up, would the xanax bring back the state of intoxication or just be potentiated with higher lethargy, etc. ?

Depends how much "a Xanax" is. 0.25mg/0.5mg/1mg/2mg. And most likely it will quicker just keep you extra lethargic. Especially if you're just gonna be lazing around.

From experience, I have found that taking a xanax after some drinks had made me feel pretty good up until I got deathly Ill from mixing too much of the 2. Now I only take xanax after a night of drinking to help me sleep, even then I take the xanax a couple hours after my last drink when I'm starting to feel sober.
It could make ya feel pretty good but not worth getting sick, start with a small dose of xanax at first and be safe
