Alprazolam SR

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has experience with alprazolam Sustained Release? I was wondering if I crush the pill the sustained release feature would become deactivated? I assume it would, but just looking to see if anyone else has experience w/it?
Thanks for any help...
 
I was un-aware that the SR version was even available in the US ... I had some a few years ago (from Europe I think) and I found that about 5mg total does REALLY NICE (don't crush, leave as the SR formulation) ... it's easy to get regular Xanax (the IR stuff) the the SR version gives you a very long and drawn out buzz.... nice stuff!
