Alprazolam retard pills vs pure powder dissolved in PG

i usually take alprazolam in 1 mg retard pills and this worked very relax for me (for about 4 or 5 hours), now i switched to pure powder that i dissolved in PG to make it liquid and easy to dose.
What i find out is that 1mg in liquid is make me more tired instead off relax and it work half as short as the pills (2 hours max).
To get the effect of the 1mg retard pills do i have to take for example first 0,5 mg and after 2 our another 0,5? or are there some other solutions to get my liquid the same as the retard pills?
I just started with the liquid so have to find the right way to use it.
Anyone here that have some experience with this?

Alprazolam has an amazing bioavailabilty when taken orally, whether in a pill or a liquid. Something is funky with your "pure powder."

As far as i know the pills have an extended release and they feel like an equal flow, the powder in liquid seems to have a high peak and after the feeling disappears.
Anyway im waiting for some new powder thats coming from a high rated vendor and lets see if that makes any difference.

This is what i found about it:
Alprazolam is the active ingredient in Xanax (pill), but is not exactly the same.
Xanax (pill) is a retard (delay absorption into the body.), And that means that the amount of ingested material is evenly distributed throughout the body for a certain period of time. The Alprazolam is not a retard(delay absorption into the body.), so that means you take it and it works for a certain period for the full amount

Alprazolam is like an injection in a tablet is a well known fact I don't see why anybody would even feel the need to mix it into a solution unless you were saving a lot of money.

Saving money of course, for pills the price is 5 to 10 times higher if you count it back in mg's.
Can easily drop it in a drink or on a smint
I am just wondering, is it the pill that make its extended release or they add something else in it?
For now i just half the dose but take another dose a little earlier for get the same flow.

Alprazolam has an astounding bioavailabilty when taken orally, if in a pill or a fluid. Something is loco with your "unadulterated powder."

I would try the 0.5 mg dosed at intervals vs 1mg at once. maybe even 0.25mg + 0.5mg after some time. Play around with it and see if it makes a difference. Just hope the powder is Alprazolam instead of some other benzo like etizolam or something.

Extended release pills (called retard in some countries - France, OP?) are extended release because of the binder and/or other non-active ingredients in the tablet.

Pure powder doesn't have anything else except the active substance and so you're getting an instant effect.
