2300: 6mg Alprazolam oral on empty stomach
- Felt carefree, slight sedation within 20-30min. No balance issues, no heavy legs. Ate a meal <20min after dose.
2350: 10mg Oxycondone crushed oral
- Felt initial onset within 30min, but no euphoria just slight warmth with reduced sedative feelings from first xanax dose. Slight balance issues still prevalent.
1255: 5mg Oxycodone intranasal
- Quick onset (5-15min) with mild rush, but no euphoria, further decreased sedation and irritation now setting in from loss of xanax sedation and no euphoria from oxy.
0130: 2mg Alprazolam rectal administration -using lipid (coconut oil) medium/solvent.
- Good sedation set in within 30-60min. Slight nod, still zero euphoria.
0230: 2mg Alprazolam sublingual
- Considered, but not taken as nod is satisfying enough and xanax will not provide euphoric feeling, which is what I seek. Contemplating 10mg crushed oxy oral instead.
0245: Still deciding - Oxy or Alprazolam? Might just crash instead
0330: 2mg Alprazolam sublingual
0350: Nodding heavily intermittently, but still lucid and coherent and not "falling asleep" noddy.
0420: I feel straight and sober as a Priest, lucid and coherent as a scholar. Will have to give Temazepam a try I think.
0530: 2mg Alprazalom crushed and washed down with a glass of water + 5mg Oxycodone insufflated. Feeling agitated more than anything else right now. Slightly tired too.
Total Alprazolam Consumed = 12g (6 generic bars)
Total Oxycodone Consumed = 20g (4 x 5mg Endone tablets)
Total Time Elapsed from first to last dosing = 6.5 hours
Overall Rating: 6/10 - pretty disappointed.
Mild and disappointing effect of combinations, timing, and RoA.
All the hype and emphasis on applying caution when mixing benzodiazepines with opiates/opiods (which is Oxy anyway?) resulted in 1. a waste of a decent amount of good product and 2. no euphoric high. I think I spread my doses too far apart, but that's attributed to all the over-emphatic caution parroted everywhere you look. Even my GP and Psychiatrist advised a MILD interaction, and NO contraindication in concurrent administration of both medications. I should have ingested 4-6mg Alprazolam and 20mg Oxycodone at once on the empty stomach.
I'm prescribed these medications by my Psychiatrist and General Physician for General Anxiety, Panic Attacks and Chronic pain respectively. But thought I'd have a run at all the fuss I hear regarding the "highly dangerous" but rewarding combination of benzodiazepines with opiates/opiods.
Well, my introduction to it has left me with no desire to return.
For reference:
Usual independent Alprazolam dose: 6+g producing mild effect (decent sedation, no euphoria, heavy legs and balance issues). Basically a sleeping aid.
Usual Oxycodone independent dose: 30+mg producing mild effect with zero-to-mild nodding, decent euphoria, but too much stimulation toward end of peak to enable effective sleep.
