SWIM has some Alprazolam 0.25mg prescribed for K9 the bottle reads:
ALPRAZOLAM 0.25mg TAB PUREPAC
If these were to accidently be ingested would they be safe for humans or is there something specific for k9 use?

Please don't SWIM when you consume xanax... or really ever around here ;)

Safe for humans. Purepac makes that mg for humans too, it could even be the exact same pill.

everyone knows that it is your dog who is prescribed xanax, and it is you who wants to use. swim isnt acceptable on this website...

anyway, why would your dog be prescribed xanax? how can your vet perceive that your dog is anxious? does your vet somehow know what your dog thinks (if dogs even thinks)?

to answer your question though, i take my dog's leftover tramadols all the time. they are the same drugs used for humans...

I fucking hate swim honestly I really didn't read all of the rules to this site I just knew there is no vendor info and assumrd there was the stupid "No self incrimination" rule I will edit the post lol. For the record the dog got them when she moved from my gf's parents house (gf just moved in) and the dog would literally hyperventilate until she choked or stopped breathing the minute one of us left. We took her to the vet and she prescribed them no problem I myself thought it to be a bit drastic for a 7lb dog but hey thats the american medical system! Went to walmart and for NO PRICES got 30 (only 7.5mg total 0.25mg pills) thought to myself what stops every benzo fiene in town from getting dogs and taking em to 7 different vets? Not for me a half mg will have me floored.

*NOTE
we aren't drugs-forum ;) - you're right about vendor discussion rules but we don't consider using first person pronouns any more self-incriminating than swimming because it WON'T protect you legally

and people might not take their dog to 7 different vets because vet bills are expensive as fuck and not worth 7.5mg of xanax, imo. plus, sorry but if a pet has an actual issue that needs drugs and the owner is eating them instead of giving them to their pet, that's kinda messed up.. :\

'the rules are too long, I want to know now' isn't really a valid excuse and as miss ashley said, price discussion is not allowed. We're typically very happy to help with harm reduction matters but asking if you can "accidentally" get high off of your pet's necessary medication for theoretical purposes falls outside the scope here.

Please feel free to Private Message me if you have any questions at all and we really would love to have you stick around :) Check out the social thread too, it's a lot of fun.
